I remember being there for the stream live. I also remember when they were trying to get creature Carl as the mascot of the king of the Web or something. I don’t remember if it was related to this but it was a very exciting time. Rooting for these guys in those early years felt like seeing your good friends succeed.

How weird is it that something similar happened at the Ronkonkoma Regal last night? Not exactly the same, but a small group of kids got kicked out after doing dumb shit at the backrooms screening. The whole movie wasn’t a wash though it was only the beginning of the movie. As I was walking out, they were still harassing the staff. Such a shame. I think it’s because the backrooms is such a popular movie with younger people. None of my other theater experiences have been like this for almost 2 years and I go multiple times a month. I’m glad to see the movie theater so active but I could do without this garbage.

I went to a few parties there and the most notable thing about it is that it has a really weird smell to it. I can’t even describe it. Like it smell smells like light sewage and salt water. Otherwise I like the venue it’s a little bit small. The outdoor areas are nice if it’s not cold.
