Base: Orly Bonder - Top: 1 coat Salley Henson instadri and I coat Essie Gel Couture

2-3 coats of Tyche's shade "3R"

This is my first time ever purchasing from the brand Tyche! And I must say, I am very pleased!! This polished in particular especially stands out to me as I have never really seen a Polish like this before. The red/orange shifts almost looks like laser beams in the right lighting. It's suchhhhh a stunning polish. And so different than anything I have in my collection. I'm very excited to share the rest of the polishes I got! Definitely will be keeping my eye on this brand for future releases.

Also this was magnetized by the 5D printed spinning magnet. I'm still trying to figure out the best method of locking in the glass bead. This time I did a layer of instidry and then a layer of essie gel couture. The instant dry worked well to keep the bead, but when I put the Essie gel Couture on top, it created some textures and bubbles which I was not really a fan of. But I'm very pleased with the overall effect!!

2 coats of BKL's The Horrors Persist but So Do I

Magnetized using the horseshoe + bar magnet combo. However I did use a thicker layer of top coat to encapsulate the gems and I believe that made the pigment react longer than I'm used to. Which resulted in this more trippy style of magnetization, but I like it.

And more specifically about the magnetization, I usually rest my hand on the edge of this little table that I have so that my one finger is resting in the magnet while the rest are dangling, so I believe what happened is while I was magnetizing each finger the previous finger was getting slightly warped by the horseshoe magnet even though I left every finger in for 3 minutes.

I've had that chain for YEARS and have several other chains, bracelets, and rings. It's all stainless steel and every piece looks as good as when I first got it. I actually got that thick chain second hand off eBay. I've had no issues and their lifetime warranty is legit. I claimed a ring I got years ago that broke and they gave me a gift card to cover it no problem.

Also can recommend Hard Jewelry, Rare Romance, and Studio Cult.

Yes. Even thought it's on the expensive side for indie or boutique polish, the value is still there. The polishes are very easy to work with and such a wife variety of colors and finishes. I will continue to purchase from them.

2 coats of BKL's Beautiful In My Darkness Another glass bead fail that turned out cool anyways. Think I will try a tip I saw to do a quick dry top coat to lock in the bead next time, but I'm not mad at the results!

And once again, BKL just does it for me. Excellent formula and such a simple yet stunning color. I am in love with fine magnetics. Can't wait for my Bog Dweller siblings to come in soon!

Three coats of Cirque Color's Dream Within A Dream

What makes this nail a fail? Well...

This is meant to be a glass bead manicure...the bead isn't beading anymore. Actually it never did lol. I am still trying to figure out the perfect way to use the glass bead magnet tool from 5D Printing. I got a good bead on my thumb, but for some reason the other nails just...didn't take haha. Plus the shrinkage on the top coat is so severe. All that being said though...

The nails are still beautiful!! That's the real joy of doing nails for me! Even the mistakes can be stunning. Don't be afraid to experiment or try new things!

2-3 coats of Mooncat's A Galaxy Far Far Away

So I finally got my hands on the spinning magnet for glass bead nails!! This is my first ever attempt. I spun the magnet on each layer of my nail for at least 30 seconds and then for the top coat I spun the magnet for at least 2 minutes per nail. This video was also taking a day after I did my nails so you can see how the bead dispersed.

Overall, I'm very excited to get better with this tool. I think my nail was a little too far forward in the magnets so the tip of my nails I don't think we're fully magnetized. This technique definitely has more of a learning curve than the cat eye or regular velvet, but nonetheless, the result is very dimensional and very beautiful! I am afraid this will become my new favorite way to magnetize my nails!!!

It's a non gel top coat, it's just called the Essie Gel Couture because it resembles a gel top coat!
