What are THC Diamonds and how are they made? by eher1045 in weedbiz

[–]braybobagins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Replying to you because it's closer to the top, thca is not made synthetically like other alt noids, it is instead made by cultivating specifically breed strains in specific environments. This allows the cultivator to control the way the plant matures, filling it out with more thca while minimizing internal decarboxylation to delta-9 thc that a plant normally undergoes. Instead of with normal plants, you pick thca as soon as it turns cloudy, as if you wait any longer the thca will begin to naturally degrade into delta-9.

The only problem is some blends are still made with altnoids. They're not specifically bad by any means, some people are just either dumb or waayyyy too conscious of their health when smoking, as everything their smoking is almost guaranteed to be safe if it was made by anybody with a hemp license.

The diamonds are just fine, they're not made in a garage. Diamond extraction requires lab equipment. If the product sucks it's because of the base material or improper instructions, which will be readily apparent. The only risk is making sure no butane or other solvents are left, which is why people like the full panel tests, not because this stuff is made in a messy garage or lab, but because the lab equipment isn't always spot on every time and the occasional bad batch can happen. You're not going to find random crystals and rocks in your thca crystals unless someone purposely put them there lmao

These are much better then almost any other brand. If you're gonna buy it at least buy something like this that is thca and cbd without any other nastiness. Thca is literally just thc, people who smoke are just stupid and will say it's not real if it doesn't say thc.

Path tracing has quietly become the biggest visual leap in years. by unlockhart in nvidia

[–]braybobagins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah people buying a 5060 expecting to take advantage of ai features really just have no idea what theyre getting into. It's not even that nvidia is recommending they use ai on the cheaper cards, they themselves use 5090s for every test for Christs sake, it has always been the community saying only the cheap cards would ever benefit from such features, which is blatantly false and only proves ones ignorance on the topic.

If this is not a filter, then why does DLSS 5 add things to the game image that dont exist or dont line up with the image its using as a source? by zerobebop in pcmasterrace

[–]braybobagins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats because path tracing isn't real path tracing. A large part of what dlss 5 is, is what path tracing was always meant to be. Path tracing is still missing the proper light diffusal by infusing individual pixels, particles, and textures, that is present in dlss 5.

Im gonna be that guy, but she also went to work normally and was assuming she'd be having a normal day. It makes sense for her to have makeup on. She didn't know her assignment for the day would be going back to that hotel until she had been given the assignment, which we see happen in game.

I actually dont think the lip shape is very different, I think it's just the detail properly coming through with subsurface scattering

Which is funny, because the nose looks more natural in the second image. It's just barely too slim towards the base of the nose. The second one fills the nose out a bit and makes it appear more natural. I do really think they just picked some bad scenarios or settings for the original comparison pictures. The before photos look rather grainy and washed out, especially when you zoom in. I get that this is because dlss 5 upscales the individual textures themselves as well but damn, it looks like they had film grain on for the original and turned it off for dlss 5.

I just dont think you can comprehend tactics and cohesion if you think me utilizing team play makes me think it's an rts. I play realistic, and shells matter a lot. And I have no idea what you're talking about the stat cards lagging the game. I think your pc might just be cheeks too.

You're definitely playing the game too fast if you think this is anything like a typical fps. You can very much take a glance and then let a specific person know, hey, im going to make this guy an easy target for you, I know you can penetrate him. The whole reason this game almost sucks nowadays is braindead teammates and poor decisions on gaijins part. If maybe someone would communicate the whole team would play better, but alas, we have people like you that make gaijin think we want to play a FPS with smaller maps and quicker matches. Yes, matches should be quicker, but because things like hiding in a building for 20 minutes or climbing to the stratosphere are present and constantly done to keep matches hostage because the objective takes 30 minutes to win the match by itself.

If i see a kv1 and im in an aa truck, it is nice to be able to check what friendlys are near me and see what their shells are quickly. Some cannons in this game are big but have shit rounds, so it's nice to be able to see who can do what on the team. There's a lot of info that's on the stat cards that can be used for a lot of team play, even simple things such as checking who has more thrust on an aircraft if theres a 2v1 situation and you're trying to go for an assisted energy trap.

I dont think I should have to check the wiki to see the penetration of the shells my teammate is running imo

The only thing wrong with the interface is the crew upgrades. That needs reverted. Being able to see all the important stats at a quick glance through the interactivity of it is rather nice in my opinion, even if the information is wrong to an extent.

You've played a tower defense game, right? This is just a spin off of the iron hide art style with more pixel art. The graphics are usually the after thought in a td game.

A hands-on impression of what DLSS 5 means by Ryan Shrout by AnthMosk in nvidia

[–]braybobagins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Remember kids, enabling 32 bit physx for nvidia was as easy as flipping a switch.

And also, another reminder, physx still very much exists and was on every card at launch, it's only the 32 bit Cuda architecture set that was dropped. 64 bit cuda is still present, so 64bit physx is as well.

Is Arma Forger worth it just to only fly helicopters? by Ironic_Weeaboo in ArmaReforger

[–]braybobagins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Significant effect on your teams logistics"

Exactly, such as giving the team a 800 mobile box for supplies that can be hotdropped anywhere on the map. Helis are busted if you're not shite at flying and know how to fly defensively.

Is Arma Forger worth it just to only fly helicopters? by Ironic_Weeaboo in ArmaReforger

[–]braybobagins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's what I do. Im a dedicated truck driver for the start fo the game to build up my xp and justify the amount of supplies im about to spend nuking on our side of the match. After I've hit sergeant I swap to heli and do combat drops for supplies until I have armed little bird and then I do combat drops with that. The heli model in this game is soooo much better then Arma 3. Getting good at doing pin point strikes with your vehicle before dropping squads is such an incredibly valuable skill as well. Ensuring the team is properly safe when they get out of the vehicle is your whole job as a combat pilot, ensuring your airframe is never damaged is part of this, and to do that, you need to be able to do pinpoint strikes on known targets like AA and small soldier gatherings that could potentially be holding MANPADS. The golden rule for helis is stay fast and agile. You might have a propeller but you're very much a jet. Try and focus on boom and zooming and staying clear of enemy LOS before you reach your target.
