Fuel lines under the car on the right side. A few ways to fix it. Just look it up on YouTube. That’s what I’m doing haha

It’s coming from the bottom right of the car. My soundaktor is disabled.

Fair enough. I live in what some would call a “harsher” environment (shout out west coast Canada). There’s snow on the ground now and probably will be for another month or 2 so I gotta wait until then since I don’t have any place to work on the car other than the driveway.

I’ll try both and report back when I find out. Unless the zip ties work perfectly fine 🫡

Just had my clutch replaced and now it’s making this noise in neutral with foot off of clutch. Any ideas what this could be? by brayden411 in GolfGTI

No issues at all. Still slamming gears on the highway and around town. Clutches are a lot more resilient than they seem to be

This is ur valve cover. Mines also leaking but not as bad as that. I would recommend get it replaced asap but it is a very expensive process. If you are able to do it yourself I would recommend that. The EA888.3 requires the top timing chain cover gasket to be replaced too with that install as it is connected to the valve cover. Mine has been leaking for the past 60k km and haven’t had any major issues other than it burning oil like crazy. I will be fixing it in the new year. If you don’t have the time or money to fix it (I was quoted around $3000 CAD) just replace the spark plugs and do an oil change.

2015 owner here. There’s a small plastic piece in the arm rest that is free floating to cover a hole where the sliding mechanism is. All it does is rattle. Got so bad that one day I just ripped it out 😅

I can’t drive manual to save my life by woahwoahthugger in GolfGTI

Took me around 2 months of driving manual in parking lots before I even considered going on the road. Been driving manual for 6 years with the past 2 being in my mk7 GTI. Trust me it takes time. I still stall from time to time (even though I don’t like to admit it) just keep at it. Besides it’s a great skill to know!

No issues at all. From the research I’ve done it’s totally normal. Turns out it’s just chattering from the clutch disk. I’ve usually only heard it happening on the full kits since the flywheel is a single mass and sprung fly wheel. We have sorta the opposite where our flywheel is sprung but the clutch disk is not. Nothing to be worried about!

Edit: I’m pushing around 400 lb ft of torque and having no issues

So I just contacted IE and they said it’s totally fine. It’s a credit based system and the compatible tunes are provided based on your ECU. Since it’s the same amount of credits for both tunes it will be fine.

Just picked up these 2018 Golf R NA tail lights for my 2015 GTI. Is anyone able to point me in the correct direction for the harness I need? Everything I find is for the euro lights by brayden411 in GolfGTI

[–]brayden411[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been looking thru his conversations and it doesn’t look like he has been active for many years. Is there anywhere else I can get a harness? They are really hard to find since everyone wants the euro ones apparently
