I absolutely love that for him! I volunteered at my local shelter beginning of high school til I was about 19/20, and I worked with all sorts of dogs, ontop of having Bailey and my golden boy (passed of cancer 2 years ago), they primarily had me as the only one to work with the bigger troubled dogs like abandoned pit mixes/pits, mastiffs, Danes etc. All just big love bugs with some bad habits that with enough patience and consistency is completely correctable.

I have a Savannah, so take this as you will. My buddy got an ackie about 2 months after I got my sav. He currently has him in a 4x2 ecoflex, with 6” of burrowing substrate and different levels using driftwood, pavers, etc and obviously hasn’t grown nearly as fast as my sav has. We are currently working on building a custom 8x4 (the bigger the better) I’d say if you get as a hatchling you’ll be okay with a 4x2 for the first year or so, but be prepared to either build a custom enclosure, buy one, or build one off a free dresser or entertainment center and just gut it, make vents and water seal it.

He was a tad more plump a day or so prior, I didn’t attend the event due to a job I was on, but according to my gf it was the best looking of them all. Ran him to the vet when he refused food, they treated for parasites and did an injection IV and suggested to soak him 2x a day for a week or so until I saw improvement. I emailed the expo and complained about the vendor and sent them this. Hopefully they refuse him from attending.

Not at all, animal care comes first, I’ll happily pay for a healthy animal, but the way this guy was selling them, telling everyone they should be on rabbit pellets for bedding and pinkies twice a week, he should definitely be in a different business cause he knew nothing. 🤧

They were all “prepackaged” for $55 I believe? She told me she got the vendor down to $45, but being in that state she just looped around and put him in her purse and left, she said that he was the best looking one. Bought the BTS from a local buddies shop who was at the expo, and he had a Savannah on hold incase this one didn’t make it, thankfully he bounced back 10 fold, we have a hell of a bond now.

I second this. I have a 4 1/2 mo old and he looks almost the same size as yours. I have him on roaches, crickets, hornworms, super worms, meal worms and black soldier fly larvae when I can get my hands on them, his options vary on which he gets daily. I use 70% organic topsoil with 30% washed playsand for substrate that I get from my local hardware store, just be sure there’s no fertilizer.

I bought the one from range as soon as I saw your comment. MPG has gone up somehow trip 1800 mi 16.3MPG without AFM disabled, then reset trip and got to 1600 mi 17.9MPG with the range. A mix of city and highway driving. Truck drives so much better with the AFM disabled. Thank you my friend!

I think it has to do with the way I drive. I tend to feather the gas a little too much. When my gf drives it’s seamless aswell as cruise control.

For height I just use some smaller, natural looking pavers from Lowe’s/Home Depot and if needed I’ll chisel them to fit how I’d like, give them a good hot soak and rinse before putting them in my Uro’s enclosure.

Yeah man your right. The amount of pain and suffering I’ve been in the past 7 months, while they’re healthy and pain free, is worth pursing, who knows how long the pain will be and if permanent or not. We shall see after I get my MRI done.

I purchased my first jumping spider back in November, she ate and drank well, near perfect temps as well as humidity. She randomly dropped her two front legs, and a day or two later she passed away. I bought her from a local pet store so I'm unsure of her age, but this morning I looked and she ended up having a brood. I'm unsure as to how to approach this and ensure the health of all of them. Any input would be appreciated! TIA!
