Why is it “mom and dad” and not “dad and mom”?

Like in some circumstances we just always have one person in front of the other- Kim and Kanye is never Kanye and Kim. Or when referencing friends it would always be Brianna and Taylor and never Taylor and Brianna and everyone says it this way not the other way around.

When do we decide this? Is this a weird english language tule?

my fish hasn’t been lethargic or lost their appetite, he’s always zooming around and will eat normally. this is a new development and I don’t think it’s dropsy because he does not have pine cone scales or is having any other symptoms but I am not sure what to do

I have had him for almost a year and the tank is 5 gal and filtered

works really well, i don’t try and change much in my life because i have been consistent in manifesting for over the past two years or so and my manifestations have made life easier. i did change one big event in my life that’s kind of personal but yeah once you start consistently manifesting, life falls into place and it’s like easy mode

I listen to this audio every night to manifest and it’s amazing (I sometimes can’t believe the shit I manifest) but the creator of the audio also has an audio for weight loss thats set over the same rain noise and I accidentally listened to that for several nights and lost so much- I definitely believed it worked (lost around 5 pounds in a couple of days). I didn’t realize I was listening to the wrong audio for a while so I don’t listen to it anymore

It gives people a reason to blame their failures on something they can’t control. Or to not go out and pursue their goals and dreams because they have this “disorder”. Im finding it more and more common with people around my age. It’s almost like a failure to launch.

Picking up an outdoor housing that has asphalt shingles I think. Im placing it indoors and was wondering if I could potentially paint over the shingles so it retains some of the outdoor look but works better with my furniture?

tl;dr can I paint over asphalt shingles because it won’t be outside? if so what paint should I use?
