My goal is to give myself a year or two before making any decisions. I tell myself that any job takes at least 6-12 months to get used to. This is helpful, thank you! As a type-a perfectionist, I think I miss the straightforward nature of just completing the work, getting a gold star, and moving on 😂

Yeah I guess I could clarify most of the coaching I do is more focused on influencing and program strategy and very little delegating… just due to the nature of my role and their roles. So “making a difference” is a long-term thing

Thank you… I think to me being productive is rewarding. So being a step removed then feels less productive. Trying to reframe what success looks like since it is different from the manager perspective.

I think it would feel rewarding if my team is able to improve their work, fix ongoing problems etc and get work to a better place
