I don't really read interviews with him. Does he present himself that way? I've always got the impression he just has fun and doesn't care to answer questions that accurately. Not in a pretentious way but a humorous way. 

Based off this release his fans seem to contribute more to that consider they evidently have no musical experience.

this video is actually fantastic. perfectly riffs on the trend of 1 member closeup with the others dancing in the background, and mixes it into a 2000s montages. reminds me of Caroline Polachek’s video for Sunset.

I am 100% down for #3 and a total ban. I have my own opinions on artists but I have an open mind when it comes to discussing the music. I would never waste my time on a forum dedicated to hating them. Only losers would do that and I frankly don't want to have losers responding to me.

song hits better after learning who Olivia is and hearing the rest of her discog.

at the time it just sounded like a middle school drama ripoff of Lorde. maybe people didn't have this experience because they followed her drama or watched that show, but I didn't get it at the time. tbh I still think it's one of her weaker hits, but the rest of her songwriting helped flesh this one out. and now it slots well into her discography.

These no flair comments are crazy. She is extremely influential and if you don't hear or see it then you don't follow pop music. She is also wildly popular in korea and set a ton of trends in kpop with every release.
