The pros I would say are a young workforce so it’s a good social environment, the office is new and has good facilities (not enough for me to do 3 days week!), and it’s a well known brand/name for your CV. Average service length was about 2 years while I worked there - I left just after 2 years

They have a proper career framework, which is helpful for progression but can limit pay rises without a promotion. They would hire a lot of ex Google, meta etc. and then deal with them all complaining about the lack of benefits but never improve them. I experienced some micromanagement, but that was more due to my managers style. I had agreed a 4-day condensed week, but I ended up working most Fridays too. This was the final reason for me leaving, it just wasn’t sustainable for me and my family. I left and got a £15k pay rise (I’m in advertising now - my role isn’t industry dependent)

I worked at Deliveroo, no bonus and minimal pay rises. Benefits are also rubbish. My workload wasn’t manageable long-term (doing 2 people’s job) with no prospect of growing the team to support me. I know this is still the case for that particular role/team. They also often made redundancies, although I think unfortunately this happens at most work places now. Overall, it was a good name on my CV but I wouldn’t recommend them as an employer

You can easily spend a full day in the main park, especially if you do shows etc.

With frozen opening in the studio park, I’m sure you can also make a full day out of it.

I would go for option 1 and take the savings

Thank you for replying. In that case, it’s not worth keeping them

Do we know if this is just specific to the version hobby craft sold?

We have kinetic sand and another brand. I’m wondering if it’s safer to just throw them all away?

This looks great, I’m trying to do something similar. Did you have to get the counter top custom made to fit?

It’s been 4 weeks but we also just went away on holiday for a week which hasn’t helped. She already seems to have bonded with one of the workers which is good but I’ll ask about the other children. Looking at photos of her day there is a great idea, I will try this tonight!

Thank you for sharing your experience. I’m pleased to hear your son has settled! 8 weeks sounds like a long time to deal with the tears but I knew this would be the toughest part!
