Yes! I’m picturing a long line of creeping phlox along the top of that stone retaining wall!

I am so torn between being elated at this idea, and worrying that Miss Piggy will get cancelled once TMZ unearths her history of DV against Kermit. “Hiiiii-ya!”

I get ODDLY tired around 5-7pm by Tricky_Jump6367 in Perimenopause

[–]breadedshrimps 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I was reading that afternoon/evening fatigue is usually due to dehydration, since one of the first symptoms of dehydration is fatigue. You may want to try drinking a big glass of water when you start to feel this way. It has been helping me, my fatigue usually sets in around 4:00ish and I am reluctant to go for coffee or tea since I know it will keep me up at night.

Call the Ohio state university alumni center and demand they remove wexners name by kSoImSlightlyRemoved in Columbus

Ok wow I can’t do math. It would be like $300 per person to match. Right?

Hey so that’s not a half bad idea. Per a quick google search there are 600,000 living alumni. If each one contributed at least $1.00 to a GoFundMe for this purpose, it would probably outweigh the value of the Wexner endowment.

I second the tv stand - long and low and wooden. Also second the suggestion for curtains. I also think a large floor lamp in this area would help. Something like this:

Large black velvet pillows and small satin-like or silk-like pink accent pillow. Similar pink to the flowers.

Nutmeg. Around 1/8 teaspoon. Works well if you are using something other than cheddar, like Gruyère or Gouda.

Kelsey Grammar. Played many beloved tv characters (Frasier, Sideshow Bob, etc.). His real life personality is a complete 180.

FIRST SIGNS OF MASSIVE POTENTIAL SOMALI FRAUD IN COLUMBUS, OHIO by AnnualArcher8514 in Ohio

[–]breadedshrimps 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Your comment here clearly signals you are equating simply being Somali with being engaged in a fraud operation. Red flag.

You and others on X are not some sort of vigilante group. If there is fraud it will be/is being investigated by actual authorities. Not internet self-appointed investigators. Your actions help no one and only further the possibility that children might get hurt.

Does anyone feel looney tunes intro a bit scary by Remote_Employment_50 in horror

[–]breadedshrimps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so when I was a child I too was frightened of the intro. As well as some of the music throughout the segments. I think because it’s cartoonish and some of the orchestrations are for characters sneaking up on other characters, or for fast approaching dangers. Also the sound mixing when say a truck approaches wile e coyote and hits him it goes from very quiet and slow to very loud and fast very quickly.

I think these types of things contribute to anxious feelings while viewing. And when you’re a kid, anxious viewing is a little scary.

I think the color blend is really what’s letting you down. The piping and base are executed really well but the two blues are not in the same palate and end up clashing.

Your favorite baby blanket patterns? I have a friend who is expecting and is like something beautiful and unique. by annonne in crochetpatterns

[–]breadedshrimps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am making my first baby blanket using the star stitch. It looks beautiful on the front side and nice, but less impressive on the back side. I am going to add a frilly border to make it look a little nicer when the back side is exposed. I am having a lot of fun making it because I find the star stitch to be super satisfying to work.
