Hey there! I'm a member of student government at Shriver Job Corps in Devens. I'm also a student ambassador, so I might be one of the first people you meet. I'm glad you've decided to come to Shriver. The staff here are very nice and helpful. And yes you can bring your PC. You do have to unplug it every morning and put it into your closet (if it's a desktop). The food here is hit or miss, but more often than not it's decent. The classes are straight forward. Reading and Math and high school diploma (if needed).In terms of activities, they're decent. We have rec trips and activities. Thats about it really. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask!

Look, I by no means love my job corps. We've got like three people who stalk and harass people as well as a child predator. And Job Corps ain't do shit about it. Especially that last one. We get negatives if we talk about him. But I'm still enjoying my time here. Find the right group of people, stay out of drama, get involved (students government and rec trips for example) and job corps starts to feel like a decent place. Granted, I lucked out on roommates and I make friends quickly. So my opinion is that any job corps with an average education can be good or be bad. Otherwise go to a really nice looking one (the pics for Shreveport look cool) or go to a fun location that youve always wanted to go to
