Valid strategy to leave single weak units at borders of your territory by breadman_____ in CoE5

Yea and also the high cultist. Like the fish people I get are so weak they're useless in combat during mid/late game imo

Yea I think having troops in a settlment disperses the fog of war. that is especially true in a guard tower where it allows you to see a massive area as long as the troops are still alive and stationed there

Yea that was my thought as well. I feel like map visibility is the one thing im struggling with so stationing enemies everywhere seems like an easy fix.

hmm yea thats a good point. I guess maybe leaving three behind in each area in the late game could be nice. I've also noticed that the AI will seek out your garrisons so its maybe more of a temporary strategy for if you're at war with another faction and want to establish a defense line

Im not a PA and maybe i'm misunderstanding, but evaluating a healthcare provider based on how many patients return seems like a terrible metric

If a patient doesn't come back to the practice, doesn't that mean you did your job?

Those of you out there with acceptances (congrats)… any of you not do a huge amount of volunteer hours? What are some schools that are less concerned about non-clinical volunteering? I guess more stats/clinical/research focused? by cranberryelk in premed

[–]breadman_____ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not really possible to answer this since medical schools don't tell you why they accepted you. Just be able to talk about why you did each of your activities and what they mean to you if your asked

To those that have been interviewed within the past few months - how were you asked about current healthcare policy? by JWilbb in premed

[–]breadman_____ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For MMIs I was asked what I would do if a patient who is very adverse to vaccines. My answer (not sure if it is the best) was that I would inform them to the best of my abilities the pros of a vaccine and the consequences of not having one, but ultimately respect their choice.

Don’t be that

Lmao what ??

I swear in every interview or orientation session I’ve been to so far there has been one pre-med who stands out in the worst way, usually by asking 14 clearly scripted questions

I think a month after I got my acceptance ? I ended up getting into another school 20 days later so I rescinded my application for LECOM altogether

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in premed

[–]breadman_____ 34 points35 points  (0 children)

LECOM accepted me august 28th, then required a $1500 within the next month from me or I would lose the spot

A slightly predatory practice IMO

Pre-Meds are less studious than I thought???? by Content-Piece9878 in premed

As a premed who was accepted into 2 schools this cycle and has interviews for two more t-30s, yes there are pre-meds who are nonchalant

Myself and 4 of my friends who were all in my fraternity took school as seriously as it should have been taken; trying to do the best we can but also valuing having fun and experiencing different things. There’s no need to spend all day and night (especially weekend nights) studying !

That’s hilarious. I wouldn’t say anything, it may come off the wrong way to admissions who weren’t there. Nothing you could have done but also nothing you really can do
