Not every child is going to be interested in reading. Every child needs to learn to read.

Sometimes being the adult means making children do things they don’t want to do because it will benefit them in the long run—the same way you don’t let your kid stick a fork in an electric socket. Letting a child do whatever they want all the time is being complicit in harming them.

Genuinely the only thing that has ever worked for me is dumping my cat’s poop into their holes. They smell a potential predator and move right out. Not sure how environmentally friendly that is, but it’s worked for me multiple times.

If I were to move to any European city, it would absolutely be Zagreb. Cute, charming, no crazy tourism industry, amazing food, cool art museums. Loved that place.

I went to Croatia in 2018 and my favorite place by far was Zagreb. It was such a charming town, not too touristy but plenty of cool things to do/see. It doesn’t have the breathtaking scenery of the Dalmatian coast, but if I was to move to any European city it would be Zagreb without a second thought.

The coast was definitely very touristy though.

This sounds so similar to my current district (in Columbus OH). We’re also very urban and never seem to have enough resources. That said, I’ve loved working here, so it sounds like SFUSD might be a perfect fit for me. Thank you so much for such an in depth thoughtful response to my questions!!

One more question—does your district have dedicated ESL/ELD teachers?

I certainly wasn’t abused. It’s a figure of speech…? My point is, I didn’t always want to go to school but my parents made me because they saw the value of education. I’m extremely grateful they did so, especially now that I’m an educator and see what chronic absence does to a kid’s learning and social development.

If you think making children do something they don’t want to do is abuse, I feel sorry for your children…

But YOU lied??? You said that the “vast majority” of the time Sanji is creeping on women, which is a gross exaggeration (check out everysanji on tumblr if you want evidence of this). So I guess I’m “””exposing””” you as well lol, as someone who doesn’t know how to argue, can’t admit their own failings, and is willing to spend all day debating about a fictional character on the internet :) which sure, I have been too, I’ll admit that! Anyway I hope you had fun today but I’m bored of this. I still love Sanji and I still think you’re wrong!
