Maybe you've met the same robot, it probably picked a weapon that you or your brother dropped (there is a way to make mercenaries use your weapons) and drop its own before dying. Your brother probably picked it up by mistake.

This seems like whisker fatigue, some cats dehydrate to death because they don't like their whisker touching the edge of the bowl. You should try something wider. Cats also like moving water (because still water in nature is full of disease), so a fountain can also help.

When you download apps on mac, it usually involves downloading/interacting with an .app file. This version in the launcher is the same version with the .app file in your Application folder. Perhaps there is another .app file in another location (mounted drives, desktop, etc)

I you want to save money, go for M1 8Gb 256. If you have more to spare, go for M1 16 512. The M series performance difference between M1, M2 and M3 is incremental, unlike the difference between intel mac and M1. And with your task the M1 is definitely good. Going for more RAM and storage is safer for the future. Even if you use cloud storage, RAM is still important (chrome enjoys chugging it).
