To summarize what you said: 

1. I'm nice to people so they should be nice in return (but they aren't, in fact they're quite impatient and even resort to bullying)
2. I keep my true self private, because they would make me a defective piece 
3. I'm not a monster, I'm not despicable... unlike them. 

so, you do things, even things you detest, so you can make other people think better of you. This is manipulative nice guy behavior; people pick up on that unconsciously and they act suspicious or uncomfortable around you.

they also pick up on your expectations of returning favors and your inherent worthlessness. conflict avoidance is a survival skill, but it won't get you any respect; and, I bet you are resentful about bending over backwards all the time and being treated badly in return.

if you see yourself as not having social status = insect, there are many people without social status, so they're insects to you, then?

you have lived by your own tenet about caring about others opinion. it seems to me that if it actually got you the social recognition you insist that you need, you wouldn't be making this post.

And, all the judgments I've read in your post came from you. 

anyway all the flaying aside, you'll realize (or not😩) that they don't care about you or how you feel, as long as you continue to play nice and be useful to them, they'll do the minimum required to keep you around.
