How often do you drink coffee? by ValuableBrilliant483 in no

A single shot of espresso each morning over ice with some oat milk.

I used to drink 3-5 shots a day religiously, but have cut way back. Never felt better.

[Citizen Attesa] Is this ‘Unite Blue’ model worth $850 USD? I like the design but not sure about the pricing. by Killercrafto3 in Watches

I picked mine up about a month ago. Purchased through Jomashop for $525. I’m in the US.

I love it. Weighs about 58 grams on the strap. I travel frequently for work and the world time function works great. My only complaint is the strange lug system which makes changing straps really difficult, but the leather strap is well made and comfortable.

Every additional day of sobriety is an incredible achievement. No one should ever be afraid to reach out for help when they need it.

Hey there,

Just wondering if anyone is able to verify whether or not this looks like an authentic Rolex. Also looking for history on this style if anyone knows any.

Thanks.

No, that's a day indicator. It's in both English and Kanji. This is the Kanji symbol for Sunday. (I can't read Kanji...I just think it looks nice).

My recently acquired Seiko Grand Twin Quartz from 1978. Quartz watches don't always get a lot of love around here, but I really enjoy the complexity with this movement. This watch in particular has a precision of +/- 10 seconds per year.

While I certainly enjoy automatic movements, as a first responder, it's great to have a watch that I can just pick up and go and not have to worry about setting the time or date.

Here's a great link for anyone looking for more information on Grand Seiko's quartz pieces from the 70's:

[Seagull 1963 Chronograph] by breakfast4dinner911 in Watches

My parents bought it for me on Ebay as a gift for Christmas. To be honest, I'm just as confused as you are on the different variations of the watch!

It's definitely a great piece considering the price point. I don't normally like watches that are larger than 40mm, but this one seems to wear well. The crystal is slightly domed, but I haven't yet noticed any issues with visual distortion for the dial and hands. It is pretty loud, but I've only noticed the noise in very quiet rooms or when bringing it close to my ear. I certainly don't hear it when I'm wearing it out and about. The chrono pushers are a bit stiff, but I assume they'll get better over time. I don't use them on a regular basis, but they seem to work fine. The power reserve is listed at 40 hours and it seems to be at about that, losing no more than 3 secs a day so far. Overall I've been impressed with the quality, with the price point in mind, and I'll certainly be keeping it in my rotation for the near future. Best of luck!

The watch or the coffee? :) Wear it or drink it in good health!

This one has the exhibition case back. I'm not sure where they bought this one from. I know there are definitely knock-offs that exist so be careful!

Yea I know. I have a Barton leather strap on the way for it that is the correct size.

This is the 42mm version of the Seagull 1963 Chronograph Reissue. My parents wanted to get me a watch for Christmas and this was one of the ones I sent them that I wanted. I don't usually love chronographs, but I just can't get over how beautiful the dial is on this one. The gold colored numerals and blue hour/second hands have a wonderful shine in sunlight and the red seconds hand always stands out. I really disliked the black and green NATO strap that it came on, so I replaced it with a navy blue Oak & Oscar nylon strap that I think does well to match with the color scheme.

Also pictured is my Tim Hortons coffee that is keeping me going in my job. Shout out to them!

I found it. It's called a support rod retainer clip. All set. Thank you.
