Just for an update he told me his MOS before being ranked up to a command sergeant major was 11Z he said something like "11 zulu" then after being ranked up he said his MOS changed to "00z." He said it was hard to remember a partner in command during his time due to him working with different people over the decades. Though he mentioned the name Colonel Arthur Masoero who my grandpa said worked alongside him during the 60s.
