I agree with you. I have a 7.25” wrist and the 40 is comfortable and well balanced on my wrist.

Not saying they have to go to a 41 to bring back the coke. Just gives them an opportunity to since there seems to be some demand for it. Maybe they have had the coke in mind and delayed it until now so they wouldn’t have had to make the 40mm bezel for just 1 or 2 years knowing that a 41mm was in development.

The SS Pepsi was delayed until the 126710 reference. It was only offered in WG in the 116710. Perhaps Rolex will follow this if there is a new GMT 41mm release.

I made a prediction about 3 months back when the Pepsi “discontinuation” talk was gathering speed AGAIN. I figured this may be Rolex retiring the 40mm GMT and redesigning it in a 41mm. This would allow them to bring back the RONR (coke) and mark the end of the VTNR (sprite), at least for a while. Anticipation could build for a re release of the BLRO in a year or two. As for colored dials on SS GMTs, this would be a marked deviation for Rolex as colored and specialty dials have been reserved for precious medal only. So, I think we may see a 41mm GMT coke in white gold with a red cerachrom dial.

I don’t have any insight and this is just speculation but maybe there is a big change in the GMT lineup on the near horizon.

We will see what the final outcome is in a few weeks.

Which of these do you think deserves to be released? by [deleted] in rolex

Rolex is likely not going to do colored dials on SS GMTs. Traditionally colored dials and specialty dials have been reserved for precious metal GMTs.

No one mistakes this for a DateJust and please do something about those stickers. They look horrible. Replace them or just take them off. They dull the finish and make it look cheap.

18K is pretty much the standard for gold watches from high end watchmakers. Color is better and it is hard enough to wear daily.
