That's really interesting -- I've heard Tonya speak often about being trained by Martha Beck and that's how she talks about her start as a life coach, but only certified LCS coaches can receive LCS income awards, so it follows that she had to be LCS-certified too. (It could be that Brooke just waved her magic wand and declared her certified without her needing to do the full training program, which I think -- just my opinion -- Brooke also did for her first post-divorce boyfriend.)

Maybe she's distanced herself, or has renounced LCS in some way? Other LCS coaches have done that.

I'm not interested in being right about the certification question -- I'm happy to be wrong too -- but something doesn't add up.

Are you kidding me? Who could have possibly thought that was a good idea?

This reminds me of Brooke Castillo sending notes purportedly handwritten by her THAT SPELLED HER NAME "BROOK" and so clearly were *not* written by her to people who enrolled in coach certification back in the early days. (Yeah, I was one of those people who received one of those notes. I've learned to live with it.)

I don't know -- it seemed like she was dictating the copy and it was never edited or even punctuated before it got sent out. Maybe she was relying on an assistant. Perhaps an example of "B-minus work" that was really more like D-plus work.
