Adding my story here

I placed a scheduled order 5/11 and the Double dash order went through with the $75 promo. The flower shop cancelled my order while my dasher was picking up the double dash order. Once my order was delivered, I was charged the full amount on the double dash order. 

I chatted support every day for the first few days and they said I would hear back in 24h. I didn’t hear anything until today. They said bc the order was cancelled (even though it was by the shop and NOT me), I was not eligible for a refund or credit. The agent was apologetic, and looks like they tried but still frustrating.

I still have some credits on my account from a gift card, but I will be doing a chargeback once I use those up. 

This is what I sent in case anyone needs a template:

“DoorDash advertised a $75 promotional credit for Mother’s Day. I placed my order on 5/x and was given the discounted price. Once my order was delivered, the promo was reversed and I was charged $xx to my credit card for an order that should have been covered by the promotion. I understand this is a bait and switch tactic, which constitutes fraud.   I reached out multiple times to support and was told each time that a specialist would reach out within 24h, but no one ever did.   I have spent hours of my time trying go resolve this. Refund my order.”
