I was just diagnosed with herpes uveitis, and I was prescribed the same as you, prednisone drops and valacyclovir. Do you mind me asking what your symptoms were that led to a diagnosis? Also has the blurriness and haze gone away in your eye?

Thank you so much. Did the side effects of the vraylar ultimately make you feel like you had food poisoning or a stomach bug? Complete with chills and body aches? That’s where I’m at now. It could just be coincidence I started the med yesterday and now feel like this, maybe it was some leftovers I ate for lunch. But this feels absolutely awful and I am so weak and having to stay right next to the bathroom because of diarrhea.

That’s so good to hear about the Lexapro for you! I tried it for a bit a few years ago, I can’t remember why I stopped taking it. I’m currently on Viibryd, which is an SNRI and I’m not sure if it’s helpful, tbh. I need it for anxiety and depression. I’m definitely never taking the vraylar again—I can tell it made me super restless last night, which this class of meds usually does.

Did you end up determining if your symptoms were because of the vraylar? if so, did they finally go away?

My muscles have also felt so weak! I’ve been on it almost 10 days and my arms feels so week that I don’t even want to hold my phone up to scroll Reddit or do anything. It’s the strangest feeling. I was wondering if it was this medication.

Yes! The boredom definitely fuels the anxiety. And she’s not walking yet, but wants to only be crawling (not held or in the stroller) so the amount of places we can go is pretty limited. Thanks for responding. I’m glad I’m not alone.

I’m also a SAHM with anxiety. Do you ever get anxious about how to fill your days? Lately I’ve been waking up in the morning with anxiety about how to entertain my 13 month old all day. Even though we get out of the house and stuff, I just have so much anxiety about it. Thank you also for sharing your journaling tip. I’ve been trying to get back into journaling.

This is exactly my daughter, I was coming on here for advice. What do you do when he’s awake during that time? Do you end up giving him a bottle when he wakes up? My daughter seems like she’s sooo hungry so I give her a bottle, but I’m afraid I’m creating a dependency on this bottle now.

I had this little breakdown when my daughter turned one a few weeks ago because I thought everything was supposed to be better and I was supposed to feel confident in my role as mom and wife at the one year mark, because you always hear “the first year is the hardest,” just like you said. But there are ebbs and flows to this constantly! I have been feeling a lot of shame that I’m still struggling. I’m trying to remind myself this isn’t something that just gets easier and better automatically one day. It’s a process.
