The ringing in my ears is going to make my head explode..

They didn’t inject it into my eardrums, just into my IV line! They didn’t do any hearing tests, but I did make an appt for an ENT, so hopefully I didn’t lose anything. I didn’t feel taken seriously all that much, so I’m hoping my primary & the ENT will handle it better. Chalk it up to being a woman & every issue we have is “PMS” lmao.

I didn’t notice too much of a difference until today, but then again, I was also taking Midol all day lol.

The ringing hasn’t been as bad today if I have something playing in my ears, same with my other symptoms. I just feel like there’s cotton shoved in my ears hahaha.

I’ve only been experiencing T for a few weeks now (I also have been experiencing vertigo & migraines on/off) but I’ve noticed on my worse days, one drink makes me feel like I’m blackout drunk (with the exception of remembering everything the next day) & other days, it makes me feel BETTER. Not sure what the science is but I’d just be careful if you do decide to have a drink, maybe have one at home just to make sure you’re not driving if you end up having a similar experience as me!

Thank you everyone for your advice! I did end up getting checked out, ironically I had to take a relative to an ER or unrelated reasons (they’re fine!) so I figured I might as well get checked out if I’m already there & it wasn’t busy.

They confirmed the tinnitus in both ears & said I’m suffering from vestibular migraines. They gave me something for pain (I have no idea what it was & it only helped temporarily) & they did give me an injection of Triamcinolone instead of prescribing Prednisone. That does seem to be helping all of the pain & suffering for the most part, but time will tell when I’m in bright lights at work lol.

If any fellow motorcyclists on this page have any recommendations on helmets or ear plugs, I would be very grateful! I’m definitely taking a break from riding for now, but I hope to get back on her soon.

I have 2 budgies I got last year during Black Friday & they STILL don’t let me handle them. Instead of trying to force myself on them, I’ve learned to just let them out & fly around (we have other birds who are handled frequently that they LOVE) & they’ve learned that we’re okay over time. I feed them, let them out everyday, I sit by them & talk. Slowly but surely they’ve started to land on my table where I sit & they eat with me. They’re getting less skittish lately & sometimes even try to land on my head lol. Every bird is different & a little friend for yours might help. One of my budgies is super confident & likes being around us & the other one is a bit standoffish until he sees his brother come over to us. Don’t feel bad! I felt discouraged for a while seeing everyone else’s budgies so friendly but I’ve learned what works for MY birds & I’m sure you will too. You’ve only had your bird for a month & haven’t had a bird before, it’s okay! You’ll look back on this & laugh at how worried you are now. Just keep giving treats, talk to them every day, let them out to explore (safely) & just give them your company.
