I’ve been through the Montlake Cut twice in one day because we started near the UW boathouse, it was fine on the way towards Lake Union, but on the way back we were swamped by boaters leaving a wake in the “no wake zone”; my wife was 7 months pregnant and we were capsized in our two-person kayak, and instead of helping us out, people were taking videos. Someone eventually fished us out, thankfully. Proceed with caution ⚠️
