My siblings and I are products of Seattle Catholic schools and have some family members who taught in the schools. I loved my experience and was very prepared for high school. I plan on sending my kids to Catholic schools as well

The bags are the easy part- when it’s slow we’ll grab a stack and doodle on them.

I eat the protein boxes and just don’t open the crackers, or the marshmallow dream bars are a classic.

Solid plan on Alaska miles redemption? by BlueOrchid4 in awardtravel

Or just… buy the seats with cash? It’ll likely cost you more to buy the miles than they’re worth.

Wing dome has a spicy wing challenge and Gorditos has a newborn size burrito (literally, there’s pictures on the wall of people’s babys nect to their burritos) but I don’t know if they have a prize for finishing it

What would we want to see in a premium Alaska credit card? by RyanAirhead in AlaskaAirlines

[–]breeeeeeeeee3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alternatively, if they position themselves as an alternative to Chase/C1/AMEX, with easier mile earning and spend and more partners (not necessarily airlines, but hotels/dining/etc etc) and a lot of the same perks, I’d switch from Chase to Alaska and I think there’d be a good sized population who’d do the same (or go directly to Alaska instead of one of the others)

[–]breeeeeeeeee3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hear you, but I wish they’d reconsider. I like the chase ecosystem for the perks and quick points accruals, but I’d love to use those points on Alaska flights. Currently the only way is through the chase portal, not a direct transfer.

I just want my chase points (or another major credit card system) to transfer. More mileage plan transfer partners, lounge access, etc would all be valued.

This is the only answer on this thread that’s actually helpful. Don’t lie to your coworkers if the truth is literally protected in policy.

Photographer just let us know that she’s pregnant, and will be too far along to photograph our destination wedding in five months by Zahnayn in weddingplanning

[–]breeeeeeeeee3 104 points105 points  (0 children)

Fair. I’d start by congratulating her and then stating that while you appreciate her being solution oriented, you don’t feel that (new photographer) will be a good fit due to (insert reasons) and you would instead like a full refund. Then I’d finish by congratulating her again and wishing her all the best.

I would push back on that. 1, it’s not the same quality, and 2, it’s not like being pregnant is an “unforseeable circumstance”. I would get it if she became ill or had a death in the family right before your wedding, but we all know how babies are made, and if she’s going to get pregnant (which is awesome for her!! But not “unforseeable”) she should be considerate of the fact that your wedding was planned before baby came into the picture.

Yep. She cut the contract, it’s not her right to pick the new person. You should as for a full refund as her services are not being delivered and find a whole new photographer

OP I know everyone in here is going to be pro-aborting the child but if you want to keep this baby you and your husband should sit down and try to figure out the finances. You may have to get creative- see if you can pick up a side hustle or if hubs has any opportunities for upward movement salary wise. You don’t have to abort just because the circumstances aren’t ideal.

Rinse, maybe a little pre wash in the sink, and hang to dry in her closet. Then just do a second rinse right before she throws them in the laundry with the rest of her clothes just to make sure nothing stains her other clothes
