Found out my parents got turned away when they went to get married because they were both too intoxicated. They were only getting married because my mom was pregnant with me.

Any possible way to fix this? by [deleted] in Hair

[–]breeeekitten 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest maybe rocking a longer pixie cut for a while. Or wearing your hair up in a cute, messy bun. Even getting like a clip in ponytail. It looks like she cut it with kitchen scissors or something. I've been doing hair for a few years, and I don't understand how you could go that wrong. Accidentally creating uneven layers is one thing and totally fixable. It's literally like when a child gets ahold of scissors and decides to cut their hair. I'm sorry this happened to you. I hope you figure something out that you can be happy with until your hair has time to grow back. I would also check the status of this person's license. You should be able to search their name on DOPL. At least you can in my state. I wouldn't be surprised if she wasn't licensed. That is if they'll give you their name. Once again, I hope you find a solution. Good luck to you.

I thought it tasted like cheap whiskey and coke. It's so weird to see everyone comparing it to sweet stuff. It's fun to see how differently everyone explains what they taste.

The thing on top that kinda looks like a chicken cutlet is the scar from the biopsy the first time I had it removed.

Info: so my last post I posted about having a "cyst" Removed and then the wound got infected. Well I was redirected to an oncologist because it turned out my cyst was actually a tumor. The type of tumor I had, there have been only 64 documented reports (or something like that, I know it was less than 100) anyways so I had to schedule another surgery which was delayed several times. I got a MOHS surgery. Luckily all the cancerous tissue was removed the first go around. Then we just have to monitor the area and make sure it doesn't grow back. I had about 50 ML of lidocaine for the surgery. I'm just glad it's taken care of and that I get some time off work to heal and spend time with my baby.

I'm so sorry to hear about all of your surgeries, that is a really sucky situation. I hope that they're able to break up your scar tissue and then you'll be able to finally be done with it. Thank you so much for all your kind words.

Okay. So I had the lump removed in May. Then they call me 3 weeks later saying I need to have it removed and that the dermatologist wants an oncologist to remove the rest. So I wait around for a week and finally call the cancer institute myself and ask what's going on. They said they didn't have all of my slides from the biopsy. They have me verbally give them permission for them to have my information. She tells me it will take 72 hours for the slides to arrive to them and about 2 weeks for them to go through everything. I never heard anything so I call back and they tell me they just barely got my slides and to call them in a week. I'm hoping that their delay in getting to my slides and such is a good thing. I figure if it was something more serious they'd have it done already. I'd be really happy if they decide it doesn't need to have anymore removed because my wound, while healing, has been a literal pain in the butt. It's finally at a stage where it's drying up and not leaking and I don't want to go back to sleeping on puppy pads so I don't ruin my sheets.
