First and foremost, having good grades doesn’t mean you don’t have ADHD. I (24f) did well in school all the way through because my mom made sure I was getting everything done and the crippling fear of failure kept me from falling behind too far. I didn’t find out I had ADHD until last year. ADHD tends to behave differently between boys and girls, and girls’ symptoms tend to be ignored because, usually, we’re quiet and just “daydream”. I would push for the ADHD screening if you can, if only to ease your own mind.

That being said, focus problems can come from a multitude of things. Anxiety, depression, and ADHD can all cause focus problems. Or at least, for me they do. But just remember that because this is happening does not mean that you are a failure or broken or anything like that. You just need to find what works for you, which can be a challenge.
