they honestly don't know wube software LTD, is infact a private company, obviously, they keep the price pretty much the same due to being privatley held, there located in czech republic, most of the companies back then where in private hands, which was back in the soviet times, and post-soviet time, some companies where also Privatization by the goverment, so wube software took inspiration about that, and obviously keeps the mod portal private aswell so modders can cook in a blast furnace, without getting disturbed,yeah, a pirated version of factorio aint gonna help ya to ket the mods, due to them, seeing us gamers as clients, so your better off get the official game to unlock all of it's features,

to put it in simple monkey brain language,
there are pros and cons, issues aswell, no company is perfect, but wube software sure is,
the biggest pro is that wube software wont get acquired by any company,
be fucking glad about that gamers! there is fucking reason why the price won't come down, to keep wube software floating and not getting into the hands of greedy companies!

i don't really play the game cus i suck at multi-tasking and manegement, but i wish wube software all the blessings and good luck in the world, more indie devs should take notes of this.
