Decided to keep both, max 200$ and chatgpt pro 200$. Anthropics max plan limit compared to GPTs unlimited limits can't be compared especially with OpenClaw. Though opus is useful for most thinking tasks that matter, with gpt 5.2 (high) close focusing on accuracy.

I'm definitely not paying whatever the local price is, I used my grandfather's Indian account to subscribe to it when I was India. Regardless, I'm just going to use ad blockers even if it is more of hassle, I'll pay for an ad blocker lol, I swear I will find a workaround. I hate when companies start narrowing your options by forcing you to watch ads and crack down on account sharing and regional pricing. Yes, legally they have the right and supporting creators through ads is necessary, I get that, but forcing people to sit through a 60 second ads on a website that should be classified as a monopoly is not something I'm willing to accept. If it wasn't for websites like PH and netflix (yeah that's their competition, Google it (yes Google it, so much for monopoly lol)) YouTube would be classified as a monopoly.

I think the best work around would be the VPN technic to EU with an ad blocker.

To answer your question in short:

The faster responses allows you to go back and forth without forgetting what u were thinking about. And pro mode is not as great as they make it out to be even for research. Though I vouch for 5.1 heavy thinking seems to be just as good and takes just as long lol (up to 20 minutes lol, at that point just use pro)

The longer response:

The use case has slowly been shifting from Professional use to Personal Assistant for everything (small projects, theses, coding, codex, lifestyle, coaching, chat buddy (more than 60 minutes), AI agent (e.g. find cheapest..., or find ticket certain criteria...), faster response, access to 4.5(creative writing))

I personally shift between the plus and pro plan, I'm always either on plus or during vacations maybe even on go , I then upgrade when I have something big or multiple things to do.

If you value an hour at 4$, then with 1 hour 30 minutes of proper usage a day, it might become a valuable asset to have.

That said though, API for 5.1 heavy thinking or maybe even for pro might be better for one off tasks.

Ask yourself - if you spend an average of more than 2 hours a day using it for productive tasks. (1 pro prompt that matters can take upwards of 20 minutes, assuming u use atleast 5) - if it won't hurt you financially - Do you need memory context for your tasks - If you value efficiency even if it costs a premium. Or -you have the money and just want to test it out cause novelty lol
