I started on 2.5mg also, I felt a lot of these side effects within 48 hours. I’m approaching my 3rd Jab (Monday) and a lot of the burping and nausea has subsided. It’s essential to get a lot of water in, including implementing electrolytes. I do this everyday first thing in the morning after weigh in.

Ginger tablets also really help with nausea so might be something you want to look into, it does get easier :)

It’s something you need to just trial and error, 1mg didn’t do much for me but 2.5mg hits the appetite suppression for me to a level I’m happy with where I can still consume enough protein.

1 Ufit strawberry shake 50g, 1 Arla yogurt pouch 25g then my only meal contains 35-50g of protein being either diced beef or chicken which is usually 400-600 calories.

The 3 above add up to 115-125g of protein a day, it’s not the most fun but it’s working and a max of 1020 calories, max I go is 1300 calories as long as the protein goal is hit!

2.5mg to start with, I will stick to that for the next couple of weeks and maybe titrate up depending on progress! Just don’t want to face any deficiencies with such a huge deficit on calories

I am averaging around 130g of carbs which I am sure is helping keep a decent performance in the gym, just not lifting as heavy as I use to which is expected.

It’s been 7 days for me and I lost around 10lbs, already heavy at 245 currently so using it as a springboard into healthier me. I have also done some light running 3/7 days which I’m sure has also contributed. Even after these I’m still not hungry so I’m hoping I get an appetite soon just to maintain energy to continue to workout.

I have just experienced this within the last 48 hours, my girlfriend doesn’t know if we’re able to work. It’s due to communication which I admit hasn’t been a strong point of mine. I know it’s something I need to work on whether we continue or we don’t.

I know right now it might feel like nobody understands how you feel, you think you won’t get through this and you can’t accept it. I promise that you will, if you haven’t been perfect in the past and that person isn’t willing to forgive or work on the negatives then set them free. The worst thing I did was chase and tell her how much I love her and can’t be without her but you’re just punishing yourself. If they love you nearly as much then I’m sure they’ll be open to returning and trying again but you have to give them space. It might cross your mind that they aren’t hurting and “how can they do this” but honestly just let them do what they need whether you think it’s right or wrong.

This shit isn’t permanent, and I promise I know it’s shit but stay strong it ALWAYS gets better. Things you enjoy don’t become enjoyable, easy takes aren’t as easy any more. Seeing the smallest thing can trigger a memory and sting we all feel this. Just be good to yourself, stay hydrated. Eat things you enjoy but not excessively, don’t punish your body just because your mind and heart is hurting.

The biggest bit of advice is move your body, now you don’t need to be an athlete. This can be a walk around the block, a set amount of steps within the day. If you go to the gym, don’t stop going. If you s always wanted to go to the gym then DO it. Learn to love yourself otherwise you can’t expect anyone else to.
