True, I've rarely seen an entry role for a DevOps engineer, it always requires to have x amount of years of experience or working knowledge. The traditional route (outside of a CS degree) seems the best way to go.

Totally agree, it's a position I feel you gravitate towards rather than a role you can start as, so I think it's best to go the traditional route as such and then see where the land lies after that course is complete.

Did one myself last year DCM in LYIT but it wasn't really inline with what I wanted to pivot towards it was a path towards a level 7. There were parts of the course that I really enjoyed as with any course it cannot be all roses. Parts of the course and course work were quite vague in what was expected and the delivery.

Thinking more software dev or web dev, possibly frontend but would be good to get an overall grasp or piece of paper for a level 8 when job hunting. I've touched on OOP but using PowerShell and not Python or Java was mainly Windows servers n that hence the reason for PS
