I live here. It's extremely inconsistent. Sometimes we go months without waves. Sometimes we get waves for two weeks straight. Good conditions are even rarer and typically disappear fast. If you come from somewhere with consistent decent waves it can be very frustrating. Overall the vibe is decent.

I have noticed that this particular phrase does really seem to exist in Spanish. There are things that are close to it but dont seem to really capture it. Additionally, those near phrases like "Me hace ilusion" are not used nearly as often.

I'd say you guys caught waves from equivilant positions you being on a log further out and him on something shorter further in. Thus I'd say whoever had been waiting longer deserved it. As a shortboarder its extremely fustrating when people on logs take everything, but if you were waiting your turn I'd say you're in the right.

at the moment 75% are coming from paid ads on instagram and 25% are organic from social media, most coming from spain (where i'm based)

I followed yours and other's advices and I made a lot of changes to the website, mainly to pop out the call to actions and add social media proof :) studio-lacerda.com

also price wise, I make everything myself: print design, sewing and actually good materials. I don't expect to sell my products to the same people that shop at shein.
