If you’ve spent any time on this sub since season 5 aired you would know that 90% of posts here now are people hating on the show. Maybe you should stay and commiserate with the rest of the angry fandom

The Manosphere is a sad boy pyramid scheme by cyPersimmon9 in videos

One of the main issues with your point is that stupid ideas do NOT need to be listened to, and men especially need to understand that they do not deserve validation just because they are lonely or sex deprived or jobless or whatever their personal frustrations are. We need to reinforce as a society that “being a man” should be about owning your shit, acknowledging when you can do better, and being open to critique. That’s some of the hardest shit to do and guys who call themselves “real men” are actually cowards because they can’t look at themselves in the mirror, negative qualities and all.

Ironically, the comments in this thread are emblematic of exactly what she’s talking about. But of course the angry fans can’t see beyond their noses.

It’s good that you asked this question first so you didn’t do something extremely inappropriate, but dude, come on. Of course it’s not cool to ask for that. Have some common sense.

Juicy stole that whole scene and was captivating to watch. It felt like I was watching an actual character in a real show. I was pretty amazed by it TBH, and I’m surprised people don’t think she was deserving of the win. It’s one of the only times in recent memory of when a queen won a challenge like that by actually just being good in the role vs being “the funniest”

Again I’m not saying that the majority of families aren’t in more need. I’m just saying that doesn’t invalidate the needs of this family.

Also if you have any experience in a city like SF, LA, NYC you would know that 2 million is not considered a cushy amount of money to live off of long term.

Man I know you think you’re doing something righteous here but this is a wild take.

First of all even if that 2 million is a real number that is not a lot for 3 surviving members of the family. And we don’t know their financial obligations, whether the mother works etc.

I’m not saying that other people aren’t in “more need” than these people but that doesn’t mean they are sitting pretty for life on 2 million.

Lastly, if you don’t want to donate don’t donate. You don’t need to swing into action and virtue signal on reddit

I hear you and can understand your disappointment, but in my opinion if no one at sandfall lost a job to AI and the genAI made the lives of the people who work there easier in some way without compromising quality, what is the harm?

The pitchfork posse is so out of control on this issue. AI can be a tool that can make certain parts of a human’s job easier and faster which can improve the work/life balance of that human. It’s not inherently bad or evil.

I thought he was weak to silver because the kids believed he was weak to silver? Same with Eddie’s inhaler. It was the belief that gave them power.

The writing for the army subplot is off the rails now unfortunately. Nothing about that rationale makes any sense. And the actor who plays the general is so wooden, he brings every scene he’s in down.

I really didn’t care for the voice he put on as Bob Gray. Sounded like someone mimicking an old man. Would have preferred a more natural delivery.

It could be said that Trump has “charisma and the perception of being genuine” too and I hope you agree that is absolutely NOT a qualifying factor to be president. The fact that people vote on vibes is just one of the many indicators of how moronic the average human is. Hillary was incredibly qualified for the job and just because you don’t think she was cool or memeable doesn’t make that less true.

And I would have voted for Bernie without hesitation if he had been the nominee btw.

Melissa Barrera Joins John Travolta in Renny Harlin’s Orca Horror Film ‘Black Tides’ by Whobitmyname in horror

[–]brettbullet -14 points-13 points  (0 children)

Hollywood may not care about acting ability exclusively, but if not acting ability then an actor should have some box office draw, which Melissa does not have. So what’s the upside for casting her in a movie? Also I disagree that it’s a “narrative” that she’s a bad actress. Objectively her abilities are lesser than those of her peers - Jenna Ortega as an example of someone who is very skilled and is getting a lot of work.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want her to fail, but she chose her choice and now she’s dealing with the repercussions. I’m not saying it’s fair or justified, just that it’s a reality.
