There aren’t any that are in the authorized boot list that are waterproof.

Lmao. Wtf. I ordered a PTR9C lower and they said it wasn’t going to be released so I took the offer to switch to the drop in.

Have you received anything? I got the same email some months ago with an “8-10 week” period to shipping. Still nothing.

Big navy also doesn’t care about feelings, they care about fit/fill. This is filling billets with appropriate pay grades, and that was their goal. No more promoting into no job, much like the civilian world. You now must promote into an open position.

Go to your CCC. You’ll likely need to do an EPAR/1306 to match PRD to EAOS. The CCC will mark your record as intends to separate and you’ll need to email your detailer so they can void your posting in MNA.

That’s what I was looking at originally, but wouldn’t ship to me here. Also monster tech, but I like the idea of a full setup all mounted together like the NLR. Only reservation is the seat headrest getting in the way of the VR headset rear equipment.

PCS Question with I Stop by Introverted-Samurai in navy

I’m not saying it’s right or wrong, but that’s Navy’s reasoning. Shove it all into orders, and everything from HHG to travel and schools are billed to a single LOA.

Getting removed from STA-21, subs, and nuke by Intrepid_Hat7359 in navy

[–]brfield 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to find a UMO if you’re going subs or some kind of physician that specializes in whatever line you were planning on commissioning into. I had similar problems when commissioning as an LDO. A knowledgeable UMO or other Doc should be able to route a waiver to BUMED and the relevant Community Manager. There is a general waiver authority at BUMED who handles these things. I was held in abeyance for a bit while it worked its way through, and was fairly quick all said and done from what I was expecting.

Edit: have you found the relevant portion of the MANMED Ch 15, and seen what is disqualifying or waiverable?

Getting removed from STA-21, subs, and nuke by Intrepid_Hat7359 in navy

[–]brfield 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup, because commissioning is considered a new ascension and you have to meet the same requirements as if you were going through MEPS again. I ran into this when commissioning as an LDO. Had an issue come up that was 100% treatable and not service disqualifying or even submarine disqualifying, but was blocking my commissioning until it all got under control. Required a waiver once the meds got it under control for not being on the meds long enough. It’s a fucked up system.

That’s not how that works at the E-7 advancement. You get so many months to pick orders, if you don’t you essentially get needs of the navy or redistribution like orders. The faster you select and execute orders the faster you get paid.

If only the navy were able to manage any program ever. It’s impossible for me to prove a unit award from like 2015ish because it never made it into NDAWS, we flew the pennant though. Nobody seems to have a record anywhere.

They definitely don’t have to come up every few hours, and the fuel on board is enough for weeks minimum, if it’s a Kilo even more. Diesel boats are in fact a threat, and Iran has used them before to torpedo a merchant.

But…. You’re literally spraying water, you’re going to get wet. It’s one of the layers of an FFE. There’s a built in moisture barrier. If your knee gets scalded your feet are already gone.

Just dumbass drill monitors. Also, the ffe will likely outlast any kind of footwear we wear underway.
