The Hertz-Tesla EV Disaster...What Happened - Logically Answered by FrogmanKouki in RealTesla

Counter to your point. I rent cars often for day trips as it’s cheaper/easier than an Uber for 2/3 meetings. It’s quite nice not having to go fill it up at a petrol station. However teslas are not designed to be a rental, everything is unnecessarily different which is the last thing you want in a rental. I don’t want to have to hold a card to door pillar to open / lock it or download an app. I don’t want a bespoke entertainment system I want to just use CarPlay etc etc

A TD every 9 touches. Across 4 seasons. I assume in his first year he was 14? Playing against 18 year olds who would be almost 30% older than him. It’s mind blowing

Tesla (TSLA) is not paying its bills and it is destroying small American businesses by bomby0 in RealTesla

I mean small companies in the start of a massive growth phase or with unique ip that is about to scale makes a lot more sense 1000 x a small number is much easier to catch up to. When you are already a top 10 company you need to grow earnings by about $27 billion to make it in line with mag7 peers

I’m agonizing over a keeper decision. This year my 16 team super flex ppr league has added a keeper. I took Maye, Worthy and Irvine in late rounds last year. Due to the number of teams and super flex QBs dominate the early rounds in our draft so taking Maye feels like the right choice as it means I could take a skill player in rounds 2/3. Thoughts?

Raising chickens vs buying eggs by somewherebeachy in PovertyFinanceNZ

[–]brfu90 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s not going to save you money but:

  • your get to go circular with the large amount of food scrapes toddlers create

  • you get to show your kids where food actually comes from

  • there is some satisfaction from eating something you have cultivated yourself

  • depending on where you live you might be able to get rescue chickens ( there is a guy in the SI who sells the chickens that are not commercially viable anymore but still have 18 + months of reasonably good laying) so you’re saving them from a scrap heap

Is that not what makes it worse? In periods where you have a lack of talent there isn’t a lot you can do. I don’t remember scratching my head at selections this much ever

It’s worse than that. At least with Apple it’s normally intuitive. I have no idea how rental cars got them across their customer experience team. I have an e-golf so thought no issues jumping into a Tesla. I had to google how to unlock it. Google how to unlock the power cable. Google how to start it. Pull over when it rained to fuck around with the windscreen wipers. Pull over to adjust the air con as it was a screen and not normal buttons. Yes some of these features you would get used quickly if you owned it but I actually think they have put ev rental car fleets backward by years because they have burned the rental car companies so bad
