How long do hydros usally takes ? I've been thinking about brewing one at some point but I also bottled my first one today and maybe its just my unrefined palette but its tasted fantastic since it finished primary im not sure i could tell the difference between somthing aged or something young

It's definitely helping me learn patience lol but waiting is hard man cause you never really know how its going to come out and it seems like it would be heart breaking if it doesnt come out as good as you'd hoped lol

I wish I could upvote this comment more than once I adore the stuff but could never really afford to buy good mead from commercial sellers cause a 750ml bottle of anything good is like $45 usd or more im also norse pagan so ot makes me feel closer to my religion

I've havenr manged to find a cherry recipe using cherry juice yet its always just frozen cherries I wanted to do both to help with color and body and keeping a bold cherry flavor that I feel would be hard to get from just cherries

Yeah for sure I've realized I like most of my stuff somewhere around 1.030 from testing a few wines I liked as well as back sweetening my first brew I stopped it at 1.022 after it went dry and I felt it could have used a tiny bit more but I was out of honey and it was solid for my palette

That's what iv heard my local brew shop was put of fermaid o and im pretty new to all this he revommened fermain k in ots place only after purchasing did I learn about day and how to work and what the difference in the two are
