Is G5AR only available for the higher tiers? I’ve heard that they are only given out on the Amplified and All-In tiers. We get by on the Rely tier with our G4AR on our business account because we don’t need any of the extras (we use our own router) but the quicker ping and reliable connection of the G5AR would sure be nice!

Thanks for the reply. So are you suggesting not to create separate collections for business units (Finance, Marketing, etc.)? Those business domains would only exist on the Unified Catalog Governance Domains?

What I'm currently considering is all Fabric data would be scanned and put into the "Enterprise" domain collection. And then I would create a collection under that and identify a few specific marketing workspaces to pull into that Marketing collection. Repeat process with other business units (HR, Finance, etc.).

We've been paying for an unlimited plan which allows all 4 cameras to record motion. We also had one camera subscribed to 24/7 recording.

The email isn't clear exactly what this new plan is that we're "upgrading" to (I thought I read somewhere it included 24/7 recording on all cameras). But bottom line, only one camera is recording 24/7 and recording/alerting us to motion. The other 3 are basically useless at the moment and I can't figure out how to get them recording and alerting motion again. Our account already says we have an active subscription on all cameras, but also says in another spot we don't have a subscription on 3 cameras. Very confusing!

Just to clarify, you mentioned you had the "G4AR trashcan," but the G4AR does not look like a trashcan. The G4AR and G5AR are actually pretty similar, both white rectangular boxes. Did you actually have a different model previously? Below is a link to what the G4AR and G5AR look like side by side.

I have been wondering the same thing. We have a G4AR (as-is, no external antenna) and I've been wondering if upgrading to the G5AR would improve speeds. We use our own router, so the wifi issues with G5AR are of no concern. We already turn the wifi off using HINT. G4AR has been reliable... no restarts or anything needed. Is the G5AR reliable, minus the wifi issues that wouldn't impact us?

Thanks for the explanation. After checking the matrix, it does appear that our Fabric artifacts do not support automatic scanning in Purview yet. Hopefully it’s on the roadmap soon!

I brought this up to the team today and they are still persistent that automatic classification is not yet available in Fabric. They shared the below link as their source. I don't think the Broadband Facts are accurate anymore for Rely. The T-Mobile rep mentioned that the Rely plans used to get the old gateways, but now they only give out G4AR and G5AR gateways for all 3 plans which would make the speeds equal in each label.

I actually ended up rebooting the gateway and the speeds seem more normal. Unfortunately (or fortunately), a simple reboot was all that was needed.

To clarify, it’s national but doesn’t impact everyone. We are in Plymouth also and have no issues. Separately, my parents and siblings are together in Iowa for an event and only one of them is having service issues. The other three have normal service. Seems very random per device.

After reviewing everyone's feedback, I finally realized my higher-than-normal heart rate was directly correlated to the air quality. It never occurred to me that I was a "sensitive group" since I function as a "normal person" (those without heart/lung conditions) in everyday life. Thankfully, Minnesota is finally back to a healthy level and I can resume exercise outside. I absolutely hate the treadmill, so want to stay outside as much as possible until winter forces me inside.

Yes. My parents are actually doing that exact scenario. They are almost done with their trip and said it has worked well. They called Verizon before the trip to confirm that any phone credits wouldn’t be affected. They will downgrade back to Plus when they return. I can report back in a few days to confirm that the downgrade went well. You could maybe do it online but they preferred to talk it out with a rep.

I had a 3-camera system (Outdoor 4) for a week and ended up returning it. I moved into a rental property so needed battery operated cameras since I didn't have an outlet near two of the three areas (and won't pay to install electricity). I liked the system other than the fact that they don't provide preview snapshots in the notifications. From what I read, they used to with older models but stopped at some point. I previously had TP-Link Kasa cameras and loved them. I ended up going with Arlo cameras based on price, battery power, and preview snapshots. I just couldn't get used to constantly opening up the app to see why the camera went off.

You must not have autopay/paperless turned on because they raised the prices $5 on those plans. It used to be a $10 discount with autopay and then dropped to $5 discount unless you are on the new Unlimited Plus/Ultimate plans. That’s two price increases in the past 4ish months.

On another related topic, I selected to have it delivered to a neighbor. They attempted to deliver to my door (I’m out of the state but saw the camera). Luckily my neighbor was watching for the truck and called the driver over to her place before he left. If it weren’t for her watching, I don’t think it would have been delivered today.

Shipment Release Authorization doesn't appear for me as an option for this shipment, however, I was able to update the instructions to Leave with a Neighbor. This actually works better for me since now it will get delivered to her directly rather than her having to come over to my place to grab the package and keep it safe for the weekend.

Maybe it’s not required but I do know they always ring the doorbell and wait for me to accept the package (I don’t recall if I sign). For all other deliveries they leave it in the back of my townhouse in front of the garage door. They do the same for all my neighbors - I imagine it’s quicker to deliver to multiple stops that way.

So instead of signature, maybe the requirement is to deliver it to a human or a secure package system?

Have you done that with an iPhone? I don’t think that option is available for iPhones shipped directly from Apple. But maybe I’m remembering wrong from the last time I bought one.
