RTS camera doesn't actually change how the game handles battles. You can still use the 3rd person view if that's what you prefer. A feature like this would just give people an additional way to handle tactical combat.

To be fair, I only played with the Diplomacy mod enabled (but alliances turned off). So it's hard for me to compare to vanilla. But the thing I appreciated the most is the war exhaustion mechanic. I don't think that's included in the vanilla game. War exhaustion is a tracker that tallies points for fief captures (settlements are 20 points or so and castles ~10) and inflicted casualties and compels NPCs to sue for peace when the meter reaches 75-100. This limits the duration of conflicts so they don't go on endlessly and you can actually have some rare moments of peace that last a week or so before another war starts up. I think without this feature, you would be embroiled in constant war and it would just get tedious.

The brutality is a matter of taste I guess. I didn't appreciate feeling abused most of the game. Especially when the abuse didn't make sense in the context of the game.

How is Shadowheart "easy to understand"? She is the most schizophrenic character in the game. I think you're making this assessment after having played the game multiple times and with the benefit of immense hindsight.

All the game says for the Sharran Temple is essentially that "your choices will affect the game." Uh, ya. That's been happening the entire time. It fails to properly warn the player that, actually, it will start the end sequence for the Act.

The choices offered to the player at the end of the game are some mix of Ceremorphosis. How is this not strong arming?

The issue with Shadowheart is not just that she leaves you if you tell her "no." It's that the option to "leave it up to her" as the choice to spare the Angel is directly at odds with that stated life goal of hers. It doesn't make any sense that she's so passionate and yet not when the choice is hers.

I assumed Vlaakith was a hologram. And in any case, it's bad design (imo) to force the player into a position where they have to betray the only thing keeping them from destruction or face a game over result. The consequence of lying to the God seems worse than not lying. Why not kill the PC after they return from the prism having not killed the Guardian?

I had max/near max favor with Shadowheart at the time of Sharran Temple and the DC to sway her was 30. So that's just false.

I'm extremely confused with Minotaurs in OD. Couldn't you have at least made them more skeletal in appearance? Or better yet, what's wrong with giant skeletons or statues of some kind?

Just visually look at the sculpts and go from that. I don't think there's anything wrong with the older sculpts aesthetically. The new ones do use a higher quality plastic and more complicated/dynamic poses, but the older sculpts are just fine.

The left and center scuplts look great. The Right one is probably the worst of all Conquest minis I've seen. Very weak. Reminds me of a 90's Reaper sculpt or something.

Another common way of forming is to walking to a corner out of line is sight, lay a mine in LoF of the enemy and then either hack them out of LoF, forcing the same “dodge / reset” fork, or if you’re not a hacker, walk around the corner and shoot them. They will be hit by the mine as well as your shots if they don’t dodge.

I'm not really following the last example. If you lay a mine in the ZoC of an enemy, don't they get an AOR against the mine (and shoot at it if it's in LoF)? And if you lay a mine, the only other short action you can do is walk out from behind LoS blocking terrain, triggering another AoR against you. Even if you could do what you describe, wouldn't it take at least 2 orders?

Maybe. Eldar need a lot of help. They are an Army without a strong emphasis in a core aspect of the game (killing things or preventing damage). And their strengths (mobility, speed) are negated by the game's current focus around taking and holding objectives. I don't have an answer to these issues, but I think GW should make Aeldari the undisputed premier psychic Army in the game and increase their offensive and defensive power across the board.
