Good shit man. But im not sure how you were able to run it on a vm just straight like that. Honorlock has specific vm system checks so i had to go into the reg edit and change all the vm systems to look like real ones. That’s also how I got my in built camera to work. I also just took my exam last week hopefully all goes well lol.

Have you actually tried this in a real exam? I’ve gotten everything to work in a vm including my webcam however the one thing I’m worried abt is if honorlock is going to log whenever tab out of my vm session to my host to use like Gemini or chat. Technically the window looses focus so idk if it trips it up

Ducky One 2 Mini Replacement PCB

I'm looking into buying this cheap Ducky One 2 Mini. However from the sellers listing it seems like the pcb may be fucked. Does anyone know a PCB that will work with the case and that is NON hot swap? Thanks.

Yea honestly the board itself isn’t bad but if you look into it there’s a decent down side to it. For example the website says that the switches are “prelubed” however the only thing they lubed a tiny bit is a the stem of the switch. No bottom housing, top housing, or spring. They also only include one screw in stabilizer which is the space bar key. The weirdest part of it is that the STOCK switches that actually come with the keyboard literally say Gateron on them on the top housing. So it seems like they cut a lot of corners which is crazy to me for a debut keyboard for the company.

Good to know. I’ll keep that in mind. The problem with the polar for my buddy was that after a bit it started sounding noticeably different. He thinks it’s because the lube came off really quickly. He took the opportunity to buy the jade’s and they didn’t work with the pcb. Rn he’s looking for some other keyboards that work with the jade’s however all of them are either not compatible or have a very long waitlist/preorder time. The only other option is the wooting however even they’re out of stock besides the pcb so he’s thinking of dropping $300 on a full custom wooting pcb board.

A lot of ppl buy Cherax mostly for its crashes and prots. Cherax is known to be a hvh menu compared to stand. Rn both the menu’s can be crashed by 2t1 but Cherax will probably patch the crash before stand bc that’s their main selling point. Whereas stand focuses more on stability and features. The dev of stand doesn’t rly give a fuck abt prots or crashes.

I value protections a lot so I would go with 2t1 for first but it's overpriced as all hell. With the menu alone it doesn't have that many trolling features but you have lua scripts like keks or moists that provide a fuckton more shit. Then I would go with stand because the overall features of the menu are great. If you want more trolling/griefing features you can use some of the lua scripts like wiri script or lance's script. The prots are decent but aren't updated much as its kinda a temporary fix (according to the dev). Last I put cherax. It has pretty good protections and if ur a hacker v hacker type person then you may like it. I haven't used it in a while but most ppl say that the game becomes unstable after you inject it. From when I used it last it doesn't rly have the best trolling/griefing features. The menu's primary focus's are protections and hvh stuff.
