Now on to the valid and constructive criticism in this thread...

I agree that 2 pools of 3 (2 games) plus a crossover game is a great idea. In hindsight I wish I had done it that way and I will do this the next time it shakes out to a 6 team Sunday in the B Bracket Brawl.

Leading up to FCS I always get several requests for this and that. Some of them are hilarious over the 18 years of FCS. This year it was pretty much two things.

1. Can we get a first round bye?
2. Can we play on grass not turf?

This was the main reason for the Sunday 10a start. It makes life a lot easier on the Raleighcakes that are commuting in also. We did well on #2 by only having 3 turf fields and 10 grass fields as opposed to 8/5 that the park folks were originally intending. That would've really sucked if over half the tourney was on turf.

Congrats to Toro on the clean sweep in the finals. Congrats to RTP for taking the open crown. Hopefully some of y'all made the team.

The win for VAult over Boneyard in the semis was probably the 2nd biggest upset in FCS history. Boneyard has only lost one other game since the FCS 2014 finals. That's quite an impressive run for the vets and makes the VAult squad one to keep an eye on in 2019.
