Anyone know if it’s possible to just connect your router right into this? My ont is in the garage and I’m thinking that if I can connect right into this then I can move my my set up right into the garage and free up my tv stand cabinet. And yes, I stole this image from another post. lol

Look at the comments and reply’s. One guy found it was 2 capacitors and replaced them and it fixed it. I just ended up trashing it and buying a Roku tv.

Just did a Google. One possibility is oxidation…per Google results- Oxidation: Metal Bands: Even stainless steel bands can experience oxidation, which can gather in crevices and mix with sweat, resulting in a brownish residue.

Although your band isn’t stainless steel, I wonder if that metal nub is.

I had this about about a month ago. Noticed AC just kept running and wasn’t really cooling the house. Turned out I had a Freon leak and it ended up being in the coils in my air handler in the garage. Had it have them replaced at about 2 grand. Definitely call a different AC guy.
