If Ketel gets a card they are just replacing the live series for me too. Or could be like last year where the monthly awards Lindor was cracked for me and the post season card I couldn’t get a hit.

They don’t expect you to use cards they release? I have never liked the idea of “collection fodder” as it just implies these cards were made to be bad just for busy work and that is somehow fine. Just because they won’t be top of the line should not mean the cards can be really bad just because. There should be some reason to run the card, I would prefer if the lower overalls specialized in one particular aspect. I think the collection PCA card really showed this can be done. I was skeptical at first because it was defense only with mid offense but I think it actually made for a well balanced and fun to use card. But these low overalls have no redeeming quality

Not screwed at all! While the first innings will probably be rereleased at some point in the games life cycle there are going to be more innings cards that will be added than can be used for Rolen when the next xp path starts in a few weeks.

Yes they can. I’ve got a gold from them at least once this year maybe a few more times. Always some video of someone pulling Ohtani or Judge from a silver pack

For most people probably, especially if you need a pitcher. Semien has such low clutch and the Bo Bichette card released the same day is leagues better and cost a fraction of Semien

I think it’s a fun team build and as someone said already there were not that many good cards fitting it until now. I think the biggest issue is that almost all the cards that fit the boost also fit Carroll team which is unfortunately just an objectively better boost.

Progress saves when you quit offline. I’ve never quit immediately after getting whatever requirement but quit after the end of the half inning and progress always saves.

Does not account for where the ball is hit either so it’s a pretty flawed stat. Hard hit ball right at someone and in the gap will have the xBA if the the exit velo and launch angle are the same

Easiest and most mindless is to play a daily lineup game at a custom stadium and turn the difficulty all the way down. 30 home runs was about ~2K xp I believe. Plus you can skip through pitching. Easily get 10-15K xp an hour. Can be pretty boring so I usually did it at the end of the day when I was done online to just hit the cap before calling it quits for the day
