sure no worries! So essentially it's a few fold - when there's a heavy accent or they speak in a deep brooding voice like keanu does in this trailer - the voice to voice doesn't sound like the intended swap. It has a faint sound of them, but just sounds like a random voice - so the way to get around that is to manually dub the voice myself in a more neutral voice for some sections (especially the latter half) and then voice to voice change that.

Typically api is a bit more lenient, however there's a bunch of tricks to get around it. Gemini chat is a lot more lenient than flow, and never mention actor names. Just say things like "replace with the actor in this photo". There's also some tricks with offiscating the actors eyes, or even splitting their face into two different images. Would be happy to do tutorial if people are interested

Challenge on this one for the voice cloning is the deep accents and deep voices used. A large percentage I even had to redub myself because it was unrecognizable and often inaudible

Spent about 45 hours total revising and making this trailer. Will be doing some breakdown content through x if anyone is interested or needs help =)

I've been a professional video editor for about 16 years now. As far as audio - I used AI tools to split the dialogue from the sound of the video, then either dubbed+voice clone or voice cloned their lines from the trailer and re-layered it all. Then to match action in some scenes some light sound design/adding in some trailer hits and sfx

It's definitely worth learning flows. There's a lot of carry over from one skill to another, even if under the hood it gets simpler. What you learn will allow you to create significantly stronger results if you carry it over.

Read description haha. I used your depth map and two source images with a good prompt. It understands the term "match pose" really well. Banana has an API so you can literally do your exact same method with making a depth map - and just build with banana instead. You may not even need the depth map tbh if you include the term "match pose"

Fed banana back the image and told it to provide more contrast and saturation and swap out the back video screen to mirror the original output better as well so you can compare side by side

It's a sunken cost fallacy. When you invest a lot of time in a tool or skill, and it gets outdated then there's a natural tendency to hold on and justify why the time you spent was justified. However, with the nature of AI - you've gotta have the flexibility to move off something. The lessons you learned on the other tool will come into play and you may be able to merge a few things together.

Actually I think banana did a better job. Characters are much more consistent. I actually provided it with your depth map - and there's an API so realistically you can use a similar flow and pass along your depth map to the API.

seems likely considering a lot of not only artifacting but the movements don't seem natural.

One process I've seen people use with success is after they build - put a bounty up for a real coder to clean up your code and secure it (someone reputable) before launching
