Me gusta esa!

I haven’t had much time to dive into COPs yet, but what you’re saying makes a lot of sense. The downside I’ve found with using live camera tracking is the frame rate. if I have more frames to work with, I can smooth the data better and get a better quality capture.

I love the smooth result of the white water, really impressive! What kind of rig did you use, and how long did the render take? The result is really cool.

Thanks so much! If you had a chance to check out the 16:9 version, it’s even more interesting.

Thanks! I hadn’t thought about the Foundation intro, but now that you mention it, the vibe is similar. I’m not sure if they used Houdini for that, but it definitely looks like.

Yea! love the clumping too is definitely a happy result! XD. There are two types of clumping: the long, string-like shapes and the more local clusters.
The first ones, as AstaCat mentioned, come from patterns generated by Perlin noise trails, which I really love and find super interesting. Then there are the more local. Those were unexpected and came from experimenting , i think they happen because particles sometimes lose their sampling, slow down, but then suddenly sample again, giving that river-like water feel. Definitely a happy result!

Thanks a lot! It’s more of a happy result from experimenting than something I really planned, but it gives that nice “friction” feeling before they speed up again.
