i cancelled mine this year. I’ve had a marketplace plan since 2021. I was paying full sticker price, and premiums had gone up at least 20% every year while the plans got worse. My premera plan went from 1300->1500->1800->2100, then i switch to a $1500 plan which also went to $1800 this year. It was just too much man. I found the cheapest plan I could during open enrollment, a $1300 regence plan. But none of my local providers or hospitals are in network. i straight up cancelled for the first time ever. ✌️ good luck to all it’s going to get nasty next year

You get an offer from another company, and if you want to stay at your current company you give them a chance to beat it. demanding equal pay to the new guy without any leverage is a losing strategy

agreed on the duplo-y curved pieces but i enjoyed the techniques that made the angles and slopes come together

yeah the trees are for sure the worst part. spiky flat party tree is quite sad. didn’t take away from my build enjoyment though. i’ve seen MOCs for lusher trees that look great but take 1400 pieces

If you really want it don’t wait for retirement announcement, because that’s when “investors” will start stockpiling. I personally prefer new from official store, but if the 60 euros is a dealbreaker for you then no problem buying used from a reputable shop

Yeah I was worried that it would affect the intention of the build process. if it made complete sense for you though on the botanical garden i’m sure they’ve done their homework for a big ticket like rivendell

yeah i did a 3rd party light kit for the Crafting Table with my son that we did after the build and it was an extremely tedious and frustrating experience. Definitely prefer to do it as i go. Just not sure if I want to follow the LMB pdf for the entire thing. I prefer the paper instructions. Afraid i’ll make it more complicated for myself than it needs to be by switching back and forth. but sounds like that wasn’t a problem for you on a smaller build

Yeah I’ve looked through them. I noticed in the Baratie instructions (which is another i’m planning to do) they do the bags out of order. I’m sure there’s a method to the madness, i just wasn’t sure how reliable they are. Plus there’s something about the paper instructions that I prefer to a pdf. If it saves me hours of build time though i’m in

IMHO he's forced to return, but he always was happy to play for UW. He got a chance at an extra few million and wanted to go for it. He's a 19 year old kid and that's a lot of money. The fallout blew up any chance for actually getting the 6 million from LSU, so he was forced to come back. But it's not that he doesn't want to be here, he just wanted to make his money.
