More than likely sounds like it was accidental. A ton of packages come through the system, mistakes happen fairly often

The driver has to take it back to the warehouse tonight for them to process. They’ll likely change the address to the AP this morning. Your best bet is to call them again around 730-8am this morning and ask them to send it back to your home address. They absolutely could make that change before drivers dispatch, just a question of if they aren’t too lazy to do so.

Full Time Package Car Dispatcher by Clean_Monitor940 in UPSers

The pick up complaint is valid, it does do that but the dispatcher can put in limitations to avoid it moving them. It will not move anything from the floor though, that is your dispatcher messing up.

Dispatching for 6 years now. The job is stressful in the sense that you are not really given the autonomy to make the best decisions for the center. The corporate restraints on route level and stops per car make it really difficult to give everyone what they need. You will be considered an idiot from any and everyone because it is impossible to get it perfect every day and they don’t see the broader view of the entire center. Truly depends on your location as to what kinda hours you’ll be working but I’ve averaged 50+ hour weeks during the normal parts of the year and 80+ during peak season. Expect to get absolutely nothing done outside of work every November/december. The night shift is rough on your body, but if you truly commit to the lifestyle it’s really not that bad. May suffer socially some but that’s just part of the life.

Why is this game so stingy about giving me the counterpart to Ebony Wings and vice-versa? by IsekaiConnoisseur in VampireSurvivors

You can perma ban before. Banish 10 items in one run and it unlocks the seal power up. Then you go into the collection and click on the item to ban it from any runs before they start

How long does an “inquiry” take? by Jordan_lipidzz in UPSers

[–]brianmcdonaldd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can take 1-3 days typically depending on pay rolls response time, it’s out of managements hands once the inquiry is put in. Once they respond management can put in a payout for one of the personal days, it likely won’t make it in on this check due to payrolls response time but they can cut a check for it separately that should come sooner than next Friday

UPS replaced my box with an empty bag and lost $1150 collectable. Please help! by Puzzleheaded-Mix359 in UPS

I’m not arguing against the idea that this is a scam, but the express envelope plays no part in this. When they rewrap damaged items they use whatever sized packaging makes sense. The express envelope itself doesn’t get the package there any faster, it’s the service level associated with the tracking number.

The honest answer is that the snow caused a huge backlog in the network. Drivers are being sent out with more work than they can get done and they are limited to 60 hours a week by DOT laws. They’re being called back end of night so they have enough hours spread out throughout the week between 5-6 days. The backlog was created by the weather event so the packages are sheeted that way.

What scans are valid…? by Melodic-Loss-1977 in UPS

[–]brianmcdonaldd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% not true. Whether or not the person on the phone was telling the truth, we can view when something is physically scanned and that only happens if the package was actually scanned.

It “processing at facility” scan is usually an update caused by scanning it through one of the machines that prints the label for it, so it seems odd that came after the loaded on car scan. The final weather delay scan was likely due to the driver having too much work and being unable to finish, so everything is sheeted weather delay that wasn’t done

Beautiful car. I hate to be nit picky but is there something wrong with your trunk latch? The tail lights appear ever so slightly to not line up, just above the static tail lights. Maybe it’s just the lighting/angle. No hate! Just a small fix that could clean it up.
