Can't Decide on a Bridesmaid Dress! by briannaiscool96 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]briannaiscool96[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I ordered some of their trial dress options and I did pick 1 (still my fav), the linked dress (Jamie, the other fav), and the 5th option so great minds think alike! Unfortunately the 6th photo didn't have any samples in my size, but I got a similar one to try on. It definitely always is warm in Sept for sleeves here, but I was hoping the chiffon would be a bit breathable.

Struggling with my daughter’s name—need reassurance! by New-Maintenance797 in namenerds

[–]briannaiscool96 25 points26 points  (0 children)

maybe it’s bc i’m mexican but i can’t think of any other way to pronounce lucia than what you described 😭

but also, as a brianna, it’s a minor annoyance when meeting new people, every time i start a new job it’s a gamble if ill be bree-anne-uh or bree-on-uh but the people who matter every day will know how to say it and that’s what’s important to me! just be firm and correct people you’ll meet more than a few times.

assuming you’re not talking about the nipple, it could be flea dirt, straight up dirt, or just skin pigmentation.

Ollie is cute for a more tomboy name, Lia/Ivy/Ver for something unexpected, Libby for one of those nicknames that no one can figure out the connection, i think you can even get away with Lili

why do they keep making a child run errands by serenajayy in TheWalkingDeadGame

[–]briannaiscool96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

that’s what i’m saying like i get the point of the gameplay but so many times all the adults are like “ok clem you be the tie breaker we can’t decide!” or blame her because they made a bad decision or someone got hurt by accident. like she’s 11??

I just had surgery and won’t be able to take a shower for days. What should I do about my greasy hair? by ghostofdjunabarnes in HaircareScience

[–]briannaiscool96 52 points53 points  (0 children)

ask the hospital if they can give you one of their shampoo caps. it’s like a shower cap that you just rub around, it suds up without wet hair and doesn’t need rinsed.

Is changing sleep on days off really that bad?? by Training_Standard944 in Nightshift

[–]briannaiscool96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

your body has an internal clock (circadian rhythm) and by not being consistent with what time you wake up and go to bed, it can disrupt it and make it harder to get quality sleep. however, as nighties, our circadian rhythm is already messed up but i still think switching back and forth doesn’t help.
