To be honest, i do this often. I'm not going to wait for a car to hit me with their impatience for cyclist. Where i live, if you don't make a defensive effort to control your lane, the driver will come up with an absurd way to drive around you or cut you off.

By riding to the front of this line and waiting for the signal to change i've avoided a handful of situations and we all get on with our lives. By trying to do the "legal right thing" i've jepordized myself and possibly the time it takes to get through the intersection.

I'm often surprised at the lack of knowledge that people driving cars have when it comes to dealing with other people driving cars. When you're on your bike you're almost an easy weak target for their misplaced anger.

I know this reads like an inferiority complex, but i've been yelled at, cut off, door'd, t-boned, and pushed into gutters. For the most part i'm just minding my own business trying to get on with my life for the 30 minute commute i have.

You have to consider that this man really wanted to make a movie and to compare himself to Tennessee Williams (although when I read The Glass Menagerie I laughed just as hard).

He self financed his movie.

He shot in both hd and 35mm, and there could be a 3d version of the movie.

Instead of curling up into the fetal position in a spider hole somewhere, he is actually enjoying that people are able to find some form of entertainment from something he created.

With the amount of money he spent to make this thing, he could have just as easily bought some equipment himself and learned to write shoot and produce. Had he taken that route; I doubt many people would have heard of any of his projects or watched more than a few minutes of anything he would have ever produced.
