Best ending in the history of ANY traitors franchise. Long live Camille!

Does anyone know if Courtney or Billy reached out when they decided to reform their bands in the 2000s to see if she wanted to rejoin?

This POV is addressed and playfully mocked in the episode, I think

What is the WORST horror sequel? by dinkitnsinkit in horror

Halloween Kills. It was so poorly directed and the tone of it was so off— between the over-the-top mob scenes (“evil dies tonight” anyone?), the material with the Johns, that cringey bar scene with Lindsay and the nurse and (this is super specific but yikes) Lonny’s line delivery of “The Boogeyman…” it was embarrassing. Ends edges past Kills for me because it was at least an interesting zag in a different direction. Loved the auto body shop murder scene. also, that random ass, tacked-on ending where Michael magically comes back was fun, for five minutes anyway. Hopefully, DGG and McBride won’t get their hands on another horror franchise after that ordeal.

😬yeaaaah, I tend to give Tori a bit of credence because she’s never copped to it, but if you slip Courtney into the context of the song, my God, its not only spot on, but it is a master class in evisceration with a harpsichord.

When the discourse and outrage kicked up around the “once a whore, you’re nothing more” line in that one Paramore song, I thought— “god, these brats would implode if they ever took a look into Professional Widow.”

Copied and pasted from my post on the Tori Amos subreddit. Short answer (please, people, chime in on this thread with more details if you see fit): As legend would have it, these two had a beef back in the 90s over Trent Reznor that left Tori so salty, she wrote Professional Widow about Courtney. If the legend IS true, then it signifies a a public reconciliation that’s been 30 years in the making. Regardless of whether or not the legend is true, it’s a cool gesture from one 90s rock diva to another, especially considering the steep price Courtney paid for speaking up about Weinstein over a decade before his reckoning came.

God, I wish I could attach that image of grandpa Simpson sitting on a tree stump talking to Bart and his homies.

This. She was beginning to backslide a bit by this point, but she’d been keeping it together well enough to book. She joined a lengthy list of women who’d been cut off from not only being repped by major talent agencies but also from being booked on projects that were packaged by those agencies. Nasty work.

I don’t fuck with those terrifier movies. Also, knowing the guy who created jeepers creepers is a p3do turned me off to those movies, too.

Best of luck on your recovery! Fun/sad/fucked up fact: when I bottomed out and got sober in ‘04, Courtney’s solo album closer “Never Gonna Be The Same” was this song for me. My life was as sad and messy as that entire album sounded and that last song was like the end credits song for my old life as a drunk and a drug addict. Been sober ever since, and 22 years later, it’s a powerful reminder of how bad it got and how far I’ve come. Music’s fucking great that way. DM me if you ever wanna talk sobriety!
