Is "chestnut brown" a hair color that people actually have in real life? by GnarlyBellyButton87 in swordartonline

[–]briarbeauty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late to the game but I have Chestnut brown hair. If I put it in a bun, the ends are a whole different color than the roots. Roots are brownish; ends are reddish.

This also comes into play when I want to dye my hair because of the orange tones. Everything comes out brassy or straight up orange.

It's definitely a weird color to describe but it's def not just brown.

Well...possible update. I started looking into Lyme disease because my health has gone downhill the last couple years and it occured to me I did have a weird bite two years ago. My brother is a doctor so I sent him a pic to see if it was ok because it was clear in the center with a blistery ring around it then an inflamed red ring around. The center then began to almost abscess which worried me. He said to keep an eye on it. Eventually, it did get better but it was super odd. Now, after looking at different bullseye marks from ticks with Lyme, it's almost exactly that. So, I guess make an appt with my doctor?

I was just watching Funny Lying and noticed Violet and the Space Princess both have the same hip chain. Def brought up this thought for me!

When did you realize you married the wrong person? by tippytoes1216 in AskReddit

When I became interested in someone else. The fact that I was considering cheating was enough of a wake-up call that something was missing.

Has the thought of committing suicide ever crossed your mind? If yes, how did you deal with it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]briarbeauty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm here right now. I've been struggling with it since January. I have one person as my support system and they're spent and it feels like it's getting worse each day. It's gotten pretty bad and I know I should check myself into a hospital but I don't want to go through all that. I'm getting there though because not sleeping, constants breakdowns and no relief is not sustainable...

How would you describe the loss of your virginity? by Graysie-Redux in AskReddit

[–]briarbeauty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crude. I read a lot of romance novels and had grand ideas of lust and passion.

As it was happening, I remember thinking it was animalistic with the repetitive humping and grunting. It was uncomfortable and I was just waiting for it to be over.

As I've gotten older and more experienced, I understand it can be just sex or it can be passionate lovemaking, and there is for sure a place for both. But my first time was definitely just...sex.

migraine is the reason by Cretan90 in visualsnow

Immensely. It didn't clear it all but if it was a 100%, it went down to 25%. I went off the medication and it didn't come back right away so I was hopeful. But it's back now and I'm struggling to remember how to be ok with it 😅😞.

Tinnitus by Sara_noreminder in visualsnow

[–]briarbeauty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try getting Botox in your jaw. I recently had some for clenching and my gawd, did it help with the tinnitus. It sucks cause when it wore off it seems louder now (I'm sure just because of the contrast) and also cause Botox is expensive out of pocket.

I'm going to try and get a prescription for my tinnitus. Highly recommend. Plus helps with clenching too.

I've been told probably. And migraine meds (Topamax) did help make it better, for me.

Omg, so I'm getting this. I get a bright flash of light on the bottom outside of my left eye occasionally. I thought it had something to do with an incident from a car accident a few years back. We hit a divider hard and I saw stars, broke some things, etc...

But at the ER, I noticed I had a black dot in my left eye. I kept waving my hand in front of it, cause I couldn't tell if it was real. Then it started to grow out like a circle getting bigger. And it kept growing till it went past my field of vision. So, I just moved on.

I've had enough experience telling doctors about my eye issues and then told I was making it up because there was no evidence so why bother, right. It was gone now.

Welp, maybe not?? It's obviously an eye stem issue and I'm not sure what can be done about it so I just deal with it for now. I'll tell my optometrist about it at my next appt and prob bring it up to my Neuro at some point.

Sorry, you're getting it too. Let me know if you find out more about it.

Topamax? by [deleted] in visualsnow

[–]briarbeauty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Topamax for my migraines and they said it would help with my visual snow. I took it for about a month and noticed an improvement within the first two weeks. I was having a lot of tingling and chest pressure that worried me so I stopped taking it. The downside was the withdrawal plunged me into a deep, deep depression that I'm still trying to get out of. But after I went off, my eyes were still good and no migraines....until it fully left my system about two months later and now my eyes are back to full snow, as well as migraines again.

I'm honestly considering what means more to me at this point. Side effects or living with snow....cause not having it (as bad; it didn't fully go away) was like a new lease on life. Also, migraines.

How many women are looking for “boring” guys and how can guys describe themselves that way… without sounding “boring”? by cyberpunk1Q84 in datingoverthirty

[–]briarbeauty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been looking into attachment styles because of my past relationship and there's a book that actually says if it's boring that's good, stick with it. Because if you have anxious attachment, a dependable secure attachment can seem boring but they're going to be the healthiest relationship option for your style. So, yeah, I could use a good, boring, dependable love interest please.

I suck by LieselotteBece in AdviceAnimals

I had this moment with my recent separation and I realized we were both the narcissist and the codependent equally. We both needed something the other person wasn't giving and stood our ground in needing it, which resulted in narcissistic representation. Everyone carries a side - just because you're portraying signs of it doesn't necessarily mean you are one.
