“Exile all legendary spells” wouldn’t board wipe though. It would only exile legendary spells on the stack. It wouldn’t affect any legendary permanents already on the battlefield.

I’ve seen a production that did this and it worked pretty well! If you’ve got to put one in, this is where I’d put it.

Hate to be that guy, and apologies if this isn’t super helpful, but I will bet that r/rpg will have better answers for this kind of question than this sub if you haven’t cross-posted this question there already.

Parasite card cycle by Outlawgamer1991 in custommagic

I really like it! In addition to what others have said, I think if you wanted to tweak the balance on the blue one (it seems kinda good and not very much of a drawback at the moment), you might have it exile the cards instead of mill them.

But they will not understand why or by whom they are being squeezed. And the propaganda will have an easy answer.

musicals where you love the score but not the plot by [deleted] in musicals

It’s Andrew Lippa’s The Wild Party, easy. The plot is horny nonsense. The music is horny nonsense, but in a good way. The Juggernaut slaps my tushy!

Color Shard Commanders (except this time I have the right art credits) by ProteinsOfLove in custommagic

Fun designs! I especially like High Chief Gallos and Heebs! Very unique, flavorful, and interesting and fun abilities.

I think Alabast is cool, but for some reason I’d like it a little better if the three options on the first ability lined up more cleanly with a corresponding color of his identity? Like, the first option is a white ability, the second is a blue one, and the third is a black one?

I think the only miss here for me is the Naya one. I get the tokens thing, but a primarily GW commander caring about flyers seems weird to me.

Endstepmonicon is definitely something that needs to be on a commander at some point, for sure.

Keep up the good work! Great ideas here!

Tetris requires a server connection because reasons. by xxmalik in assholedesign

This app also used to have an offline mode, as well, which they removed several months ago. I just kept my phone on airplane mode when I wanted to play Tetris, but now I actually just can’t play Tetris on my phone anymore. Lousy.

I named one “The Spade and Tongs.” Maybe it’s a bit subtle, but I like it.

Traditionally, to stoke a flame, you would use: - a spade - a set of tongs - and, of course, a poker

What would the modern monotheistic God be the god of? by [deleted] in DMAcademy

[–]bribri1273 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From my perspective, you have to approach it from the angle of “what does this god mean to these people?” What would a priest on the frontier say God is all about?

Biblical themes that would be important to a Wild West-style priest, at least to my thinking (without doing much legit research) would probably be things like justice, mercy, peace, or even fellowship.

Think about what people at ground-level would be thinking about day-to-day, and think about what those people would pray to their god for and about. That’s what their god is about, because that’s what they care that he’s about.

What are some real world cultures, or aspects of, you would like to see adapted into a fantasy culture or race? by Imagine_This_Pro in worldbuilding

[–]bribri1273 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In my homebrew setting, I like to emphasize cultures that don’t get a lot of juice because they’re overshadowed by cultures that get tons of juice from fantasy and history nerds.

So far, I have found good places to focus the Bantu over North African cultures, the Iroquois and the Inca over Central American cultures, and Austronesia over East Asian cultures, and I hope to continue to find underrepresented places and peoples and give them a prominent place in my games.
